Barbekyu Kitchen — Restaurant in Pekanbaru

Located in Jl. Sudirman, beside Viera (yellow painted building), across RM. baresolok restaurant. this place serve one of good steak in the city. Parking space is limited only to 8 cars and up to 12 motorbikes. There's parking person stationed there. The place was easy to find during the day but a bit hard when it's dinner time, the adv billboard wasn't as visible as compared to the midday.

Upon entering the premise, the ambience is quite bright and they're using warm lights. The place was clean, air-conditioned and the furniture was well maintained. me and my friend took a seats and order. The staff will be present as they write your order. We ordered chicken steak and barbekyu sirloin. For drinks we ordered iced tea and lychee tea.They only serve halal food and during fasting period, they will only be accepting reservation for 6pm and take away orders.

the pricing; (you can view from google map location their full menu) Chicken steak IDR 64.000 It was grilled just right, all the juice came out when i sliced it. The seasonings was just right, no MSG only salt and pepper. Accompanied with side dishes like broccoli, batonnete cut carrots and snaps. complimented by mashed potatoes* that was light, fluffy and not very creamy. it melts when enter your mouth. with blackpepper sauce**

Barbekyu Sirloin IDR 94.000 my friend ordered medium well for the beef steak. It was served piping hot, very juicy and exactly as she wanted. Instead of mashed potatoes, she choose potato wedges with mushroom sauce. The vegetables side dish was the same as mine. The sauce was saltier than blackpepper thus she felt thirsty after our meals.

Iced tea IDR 15.000 Normal tea with ice, complimenting the main dish.

Lychee tea IDR 30.000 A tea served with lemon slice and lychee on the bottom of it. I love that they serve it that way instead of using ready-made store bought lychee infused flavour tea.

You can choose to have fries, mashed potatoes or potato wedges. *Sauce options was barbekyu, mushroom, and blackpepper.

Overall our visit was nice and it was also fast. We wait for 15 mins for our food to be ready. Make sure to visit when it's midday because less ppl and avoid dinner time. Payment available is CREDIT/DEBIT CARD and e-Wallet such as GoPay/OVO.

My husband and I came to have dinner in this restaurant on 24 April 2023 (Eid Mubarak holiday session). Unlikely there were many dishes unavailable at that time, We were not able to eat the steak that we wanted. We ordered the Burger Steak and Pasta Carbonara. The pasta carbonara was quite delicious, yet the burger steak was not very good due to the poor quality of the beef (the smell of the beef was not pleasant at all). In result, my husband and I got stomachache after eating the burger steak. The restaurant’s vibe was lovely and the staffs were helpful, it’s pretty sad because the beef quality was not good. Overall, the place is pretty good. I like the fact that to my surprise, they can grill your steak as per your request, and it is quite good. The service was good: they were attentive and responsive. However, many of the things I wanted to have were either out of stock or they were simply not available; a big let down cause you mention like 5 or 6 items and they only have 2 of them.
