The Coffee Waroeng Steak & Shake — Restaurant in Pekanbaru

All of Waroeng Steak outlets serve well and I really enjoy the food and beverage that I ordered, but the circumstance this afternoon surprised me.

When I ordered my favourite as usual, the total amount of price and including tax is Rp 49.000. When I wanted to pay, the cashier guy told me that we are not allowed to use QRIS and debit payment if the transaction amount is less than Rp 50.000. I refuted and tell him that this is not true and I asked why, but his answer is "I don't know why" and he asked me to order something else so my transaction amount can be more than Rp 50.000 so that I can use QRIS or debit payment methods.

Well, let me tell you several things: QRIS and debit cards could be different from each bank to another, but the regulation is still the same. QRIS and debit payment methods CAN BE USED AS LONG AS THE MONEY STILL AVAILABLE IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT or YOUR BALANCE IS NOT LESS THAN THE TRANSACTION AMOUNT or YOUR BANK ACCOUNT IS STILL ACTIVE. There is nothing like "QRIS or debit least amout of transaction". Even I ate somewhere and the price was Rp 28.000, the payment could still be done, so stop talking nonsense.

It's okay if you want to increase your sales, but not by talking nonsense like that. That's unfair. Stop tricking other people and be honest!

I came here with my husband because I wanted to eat steak. We ordered some dishes, those are: Beef Steak = 3/5 (the beef was hard to be chewed, but it’s still good for price wise) Double Tenderloin = 4/5 (Quite delicious, I will recommend this one) Milkshake Date (Kurma) Caramel = 2/5 (It should be tasted like a date (kurma), but nope, it’s only Vanilla Milkshake, I was dissapointed) Orange Float = 4/5 (Pretty refreshing)

The ambience was okay, the place was spacious and clean enough. On the contrary, the toilet was a nightmare, they didn’t clean the toilet properly and the smell was awful, I decided not to use the toilet, totally a no-no. Please clean the toilet properly....

Steaks, chips, fried chicken with tasty curry, here you'll find a glimpse of expensive food with reasonable price and they taste just on par. The place is good for friends to hang out because they are the ones who would not be disturbed by the long waiting time. Yes, The food takes too long to arrive. The place is unsuitable for a family who has toddlers as there is no facility to accommodate them in favor for their waiting time. my 2 stars is based on the waiting time,...
