Sultan Resto Pekanbaru — Restaurant in Pekanbaru

The food was, meh. I tried several signature dishes. The dendeng batokok was actually cold, not even heated or anything. I also bought this fried egg menu, that I think contain more flour than eggs itself. Food wise, this is not great at all. The only reason I'm giving it a 3-star, is the service. The service was, immaculate. The service, in my opinion, is almost if not on par with those of 5-stars hotel restaurants. A prime example: while we were looking at the menu, my baby sister was crying. Not long after that, one of the waitress came in with a plate of ice cream. Sure enough, my sister stopped crying! She even offered more if she wants. Overall, the service was very pleasing and I cannot stress enough how good they actually are. Diners are treated, as their name suggests, as Sultans. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the service. The place was fairly cozy too, with many Sultanate ornaments, topped with pictures of Sultans alongside facts about them 👌. Sultan Signature coffee is very recommended. I ordered the less sugar one and I found the perfect blended coffee. It's Malay specific taste.

As a lunch, I ordered the unique rice fried with Malay specific taste. Nasi Goreng Cikpuan. I tried Telur dadar Barendo and the taste is just like ordinary egg with friend flour.

The excellent taste I also found in their Canai. It's Savory with a hint of sweetness battle with an amazing curry sauce.

Moreover, this Sultan resto has good atmosphere even if they don't have any air conditioner. The open air space is comfortable with live classical live music like you can find in my video below.

No to hard to find the restaurant even thought not on a main road but its on good location, u'll notice it from it bright yellow n green colors with uniqeu structure compares to others nearby it. Have medium parking lots that not too crowded even on a weekend. Big dining room and cozy almost like betawi style with a lot of ceiling fans and lamps. Price of the foods is like medium to high for locals, Good services. I like that they play malay song for upbeat the ambiance. So yeah perfect for familiy and huge groups.
