My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wanawatu and we were absolutely blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enveloped in a romantic ambience that set the stage for a memorable evening.

The artistic food plating was nothing short of a masterpiece. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented with meticulous attention to detail. It wasn't just a meal; it was an exploration of flavors and textures that delighted our taste buds. The chef's creativity shone through in every bite, making the dining experience truly exceptional. Our favourite is Nasi Campur Wanawatu.

As many people said in the review, indeed the reservation & deposit are a bit confusing. I think they just wanna maintain a sense of exclusivity. We came here to take 1 amazing sunset photo with my friend.

We tried to reserve via whatsapp/instagram & they said they were full. We tried walking in & was asked to wait. It's sucks as we missed the sunset, especially when we walked in there were many places which are empty both indoor & outdoor. We were told that they can't fill up the indoor space as they'd need to move the guest inside in case it rains. However again, there are many empty seats (and it's not even that cloudy tbh). We were also told that we can only enter at 6pm as the 4-6pm guest were still there, but it was 6.03pm. Upon entering, the pool area were blocked by 1 table, making it impossible to take a photo by the sunset. :( They were a bit selfish & don't give other people their turn as I saw several others were waiting.

That aside, the waiters were super polite & friendly (well, except for the reception area). A deposit of 100k per person is required upon entering which is ok since they're selling the view. Food were ok, drinks were super good. I have to add, just for 2 person they gave us a very comfy sofa seat, which is super nice! (Tho I'd rather get a less good chair n catch the sunset tbh).
