T&T Chindo's Cuisine — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

Came here with high expectations but the food were just mediocre, if not disappointing. Service was non existent, the female worker was lacking hospitality sense, no smile and not welcoming. Place is open space and semi outdoorsy, traces of cigarettes on the tables were left by previous customers and were not cleaned properly.

Now about the food: ordered bakmie komplit which was the most expensive and had the most toppings. Liked the chewiness of the noodle but for the portion and price didn't do any justice compared to Bakmie Abong/Akuet in Dewi Sri food court.

Chee cheong fan was a turned off, it's just too much vinegar on the sauce that it left my tongue burnt hours after having it. A complete different take of chee cheong fan that failed miserably.

The good: the chicken rice here is not bad. Chicken is cooked perfectly though a bit too salty. Rice is just normal rice instead of chicken rice but that’s ok.

The bad: the noodle dish was just ok. Way too salty.

The ugly: service is SLOW. There were only 4 other people in the place, yet to get one chicken rice and one noodle bowl took us almost 30 minutes. In the meantime our clothes started to reek because everyone else in the place were chain smoking. I've frequented this establishment numerous times for both lunch and dinner. My personal favorites are the Nasi Campur Kari and the noodle curry; both dishes are excellent. I'd recommend visiting during the afternoon or evening, as I've found that their menu quality tends to decline at night. The curry can be sticky and lacks warmth, once i found they were emitting a strange odor.
