Ok, so… Let me start off with an introduction. I’ve had kaya toast from Singapore but it does not come close to this. They make their kaya jam in house, one toast has mentega and the other has jam. The bread is nothing special, but they toast it on real charcoal. You know the place is bussin, if they use real charcoal!! Do not be fooled by the appearance, this place is a certified slapper. The place is filled with usuals, who in the mornings will sit inside the owners living room because the storefront is full. And they will shoot sh!t until siang. 10/10 on the toast.

Warung Kopi Mekar Indah, atau orang bahari sering bilang kopi liem adalah tempat spesial yang paling sering saya kunjungi bersama almarhum ayah saya. Selalu minggu pagi kesini setelah ayah saya memotong rambut nya yang kalau di pikir pikir nyari alasan aja buat ngobrol sama barber dan kabur dari rumah haha. Warung kopi liem ini terletak di jalan Pangeran Diponegoro di sebelah kiri sebelum perempatan lampu merah karena jalan ini hanya satu arah. Parkir mobil enak bisa di depan atau seberang jalan. Tempatnya ruko dua pintu sederhana layaknya konsep kopitiam tradisional, pengunjungnya kebanyakan bapak bapak politik, salesman atau traveller. Menu favorit dan WAJIB BANGET saya di sini adalah kopi susu panas, lumpia basah/goreng dan roti telor. Rasanya sangat enak banget, the best in town IMHO.
