Lekker Paimo — Restaurant in Semarang

“Kue Leker" or “Leker Cake” is a type of Indonesian crepe, made with wheat flour, eggs, milk and sugar. Sold by Mr. Paimo, a street food stall located in front of the Kolese Gonzaga. Although only a street food stall, but the enthusiasm of the customers to try this “leker” is quite large. Seen from a very long queue and many hours. The menu offered very diverse, ranging from chocolate, caramel, sweet cheese, ovomaltine, nutella, till using fillings such as eggs, tuna, sausages and mozzarella cheese. The taste is very good for every menu. What is worth a try is the “Telor Kornet Sosis Tuna Mozarella” (eggs, corned, mozzarella, sausage and tuna), even though the price is expensive, but there is nothing like this in other places. But in my notes, for me it is enough to try this street food just once in my life. A legendary street food in Semarang and finally after about 13 years, I had a chance to visit on the spot again. It was located in front of Loyola school and recently move to this place. Paimo was the one who made this Lekker become so famous in Semarang, however nowadays mostly handled by his son/daughter. Price ranges are quite wide from 2500 to 40.000 depends on the topping / variants. Eventhough for some sweet variants such as ovomaltine and nutella, they still used real ovomaltine and nutella unlike another seller who substitute with cheaper brand. Taste were still good especially peanut chocolate, ovomaltine, and telor tuna. This also could be subjective because for some people this snacks could bring the nostalgic or childhood memories. At first, I want to go there after I arrive at semarang but no, I can't take the heat 😭 So yeah, I'm very glad when I found them in online food delivery app! I order when the time is not too crowded and too hot for the driver (approx. 3-4pm) so I can get my meal faster and it's still hot!!🤤 Make sure you tip the driver properly beacuse I heard they have to wait for a long time to get ur meal

Ok, back to this lekker, I ordered Lekker tuna sosis kornet telor mozzarella, the most expensive lekker, and I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!😭 you can custom your spiciness according your preference, and I ordered the most spicy and it taste SO DAMN GOOD!! I mean, the egg, the cornet, the sausage, the tuna, it get mixed with mozzarella and the spice, hmmm I can't explain it Its savoury, little sweet from the dough, spicy, omg I want to buy it again...
