Hotel Gets — Hotel in Semarang

When we first came, it took so long to deliver our luggage to the room. The parking is also a very challenging. Although they have lots of staff assisting on Saturday, perhaps there was a wedding. The hotel is not properly maintain. We stayed at 8th floor, the wallpaper is peeling off, the bedside table lamp was broken, the bathroom lots of mould on the floor and wall tile. The shower floor was very slippery and I almost fell when entering the area. The bathroom door also need repair. Lack of lighting, need to call the technician to fix the bedside table lamp because it was the only source of lighting on the area. The curtains also lots of stain. I called the housekeeping to clean the bathroom, he came not wearing mask. I asked him to clean the room, he mopped the floor really wet that I am scare I fell. I told him it's too wet, he said it will dry eventually and did nothing to dry it. He and another housekeeping clean the bathroom and throw the hair in the toilet.they didn't take the rubbish out. Next day another housekeeping came to the room, he used vacuum cleaner to clean the floor. He also did not take the rubbish out. As if there is no standard cleaning procedure. Bed is okay. Here is my very experience during my stay at the Gets Hotel, I stayed for 3 nights in a "Grand Deluxe" room. When I arrived at the Lobby, the friendly bellman greets me warmly (always happen, everytime when I meet him in the lobby, what a very nice bellman!) and when I went to the receptionist to check in, she greeted me and explained about everything that I need to know during my stay in Gets Hotel, like the location of the swimming pool, breakfast procedure, etc. And they gave me a welcome (traditional / ginger) drink too!

The parking lot is very wide and it also has basement parking space.

The lobby is vast, beautifully designed and fully furnished, with elegant bearings that gives off luxurious vibes. My room (Grand Deluxe) is huge, very clean and comfortable, soft beds, with cool air conditioning, along with several complete convenience furnitures.

However, the bathroom condition is not up to par. It isn't as clean as I expected, showers leak and the shower room has this yellow-slimy-slippery substance (moss?) with a lot of drain-flies. Outstanding overall, might stay here again ln my next visit to Semarang.

P.S. I'm so happy! It has Frozen 2 Theme during this Holiday...

Came to stay here after watching reviews from tiktoks and instagram.

I stayed in one of the high floor rooms. The room I stayed was clean with great view of the city. The pool and gym also nice, big pool and clean gym. The front desk staffs were also great and helpful. That's about all of it which were nice about the hotel.

The breakfast buffet is bad, many variants of the food, but most of it is dry already. The rice was dry and hardened. The bread and cake were dry, but the bread was saved by the toaster. The restaurant staff work very slowly, and lots of empty plates are stacked up before being picked up from the table. The chicken for laksa noodles, porridge, and liwet rice was dry and hard. I don't know whether it's because of the full blast aircon or because most of the food was not covered. Empty dishes also took a long time before refilled.

In conclusion, stayed for the view from high floor rooms. I don't know if it is just me who gets a bad experience from this, or it has always been like this. Rather than paying extra for breakfast at the hotel, I think it's better to go out and look for...
