Nikusha Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Semarang

Nikusha is and should be one of the hottest auce spot in Semarang. While they provide various premium packages with different meat dishes and frozen fishballs, they also provide a simple set package with only 100k per person.

Yes I tried the simple set package. 150 gram of sliced beef and all you can eat buffet. The buffet provided was good. I had chawanmushi, oyakodon (without the don), penne carbonara, black pepper beef and sushi. The frozen food and veggies section was so delightful. Veggies were fresh and fish cakes were amazingly complete. All kind of fish cakes and fish balls flavors were available. Shabu broth was really nice. IMO the simple set is good enough for quick lunch with friends and families.

The only downside is that it is located in a prestigious mall that is Tentrem Mall. Located in the a corner of the 3rd floor some people would find it intimidating. But I believe this place should be the hottest auce place...

BAD SERVICE. Me, with a group of 8, ordered 2 tables, one for yakiniku and one for shabu. The waiter initally stated that we were allowed to share between the two tables, only to say the opposite once we started sharing, stating that we must upgrade to a combo for it. When we objected to it, the waiter doubled down on disallowing sharing instead of apologizing.

I would've recommended the place, but that incident alone has spoiled my whole experience. I highly doubt I will dine...
