Had the most delightful dinner experience at Balboni Ristorante! Everything from the food to the drinks to the service was absolutely spot on.
What we ordered:
Crispy Mozzarella Cheeseball Spicy Wagyu Meatball Pizza Linguine ai Gamberi Casarecce allo Tartufata Watermelon Strawberry Cooler Pineapple Crush Lychee Iced Tea Berries Panna Cotta
Here’s the breakdown:
Linguine ai Gamberi: Super flavorful, the prawn was fresh and juicy—every bite was satisfying.
Casarecce allo Tartufata: Rich and creamy, with a strong truffle flavor that hits all the right notes. Pasta was perfectly cooked, and the portion was generous!
Spicy Wagyu Meatball Pizza: Seriously good. Crispy edges, slightly spicy, and loaded with flavor. Feels like you’re in Italy.
Mozzarella Cheeseball: Crunchy on the outside, creamy and melty inside. Such a comforting starter.
Drinks: So refreshing! Personal favorite was the Watermelon Strawberry Cooler, but the Lychee Iced Tea and Pineapple Crush were also great choices.
Berries Panna Cotta: Light, creamy, and a lovely way to end the meal.
Bonus: They serve you complimentary sesame breadsticks—so good!
✨ On top of the amazing food, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The ambience is warm and cozy, perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner out.
If you’re craving authentic Italian with great vibes, Balboni is a must-visit. Definitely coming...
Read moreI was intrigued to try this since it says 4.9 stars on Google Maps.
The service was great when we arrived; friendly staff, smiles all around. We ordered Mushroom Cheese Balls, Spicy Wagyu Meatball pizza, Cotella Pollo Torinese, and Watermelon Strawberry Cooler.
The food arrived pretty quickly, which was a nice touch, but unfortunately, it was just average. Honestly, nothing stood out. It wasn’t bad, but it certainly wasn’t anything that would justify the price.
After we finished eating, the staff handed us a review paper to fill out. I gave my honest feedback: service was good, ambience was nice, and the food was just okay. I also wrote that I might recommend it.
Now, HERE’S WHERE THINGS TOOK A TURN 🙂. About 10-15 minutes later, we went back to buy their gelato and use the bathroom. To our surprise, we found our review paper, the exact one we filled out, discarded in the trash bin in the restroom. My partner opened it, and there it was, our feedback, completely disregarded. Why ask for reviews if you’re not ready for the bad one?
This left a bad taste in our mouths, hence, I can no longer say that the service was good.
I really wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. There are much better options out there where the food will be better and your feedback will be appreciated, whether it's positive or...
Read moreAn underrated Italian restaurant. A friend recommended this restaurant, with no expectations me and my family tried to have dinner here. The ambience was warm and cozy. Service from the beginning to end was commendable! We absolutely love the food here, tomato puree was fresh and savoury. I'm not a fan of tomato, but they made it too good to pass. I forgot the name of the dish I ordered, o remembered it has eggplant meat wrapped like sausage on a platter of tomato puree. My daughter ordered pizza, which she immediately praised. The portion was huge, not suitable for a single person. I actually wanted to try their gelato, but I'm too stuffed. I think it's better to have options of portion on the menu. The only minus thing was that the toilet īwas still under repair and we had to go further away just for peeing. I definitely want to return and...
