Even though the restaurant a little bit tricky to find, located behind The Flavor Bliss area, this doesn't stop people from visiting this restaurant. There are several reasons why people come this restaurant where many of them are returning patrons. The first reason is the Covid protocol this restaurant implement. At the entrance visitors are measured for their body temperature and oxygen levels, which offers extra assurance of the health of the people who dine there. The restaurant also provides a generous amount of plastic gloves near every food station to minimize people touching directly the trays of meats available. There are also security personnels who ensure visitors are following the protocol. The second reason, and the most important one I believe, is the food and beverages the restaurant provides. For the Yakiniku, the restaurant provides several types of meat and chicken covered with sauce that guarantee to built up your appetite after you grill them. For additional flavor, the restaurant provides several sauce that you can choose, ranging from tomato sauce to soy sauce to mayonnaise. As for the Shabu-Shabu, the restaurant provides around 5 different flavor of soup for you to boil the meat and/or the vegetables with the collagen and the tom yam flavor as the favorite ones among visitors. If you happen to have young children with you and they are not really into Yakiniku and Shabu-Shabu, they can have dishes such as fried rice and spaghetti. As for dessert, visitors can choose several type of food ranging from waffles, es teler, es campur, ice cream, pudding/jelly, and bubur kacang hijau. The third reason is the service the restaurant provides. The servants are quick to response and polite in doing their jobs to ensure our needs are provided. Although they may a little bit slow when refilling the meats and vegetables during rush hours. There are the reasons I believe many people like to dine here. Therefore it is highly recommended to book a spot in advance if you are interested to dine here with your...
Read moreWent here as we passed by depo bangunan after strolled quite long earlier to hunt for some materials.
They offer 3 grade of meats (being the first and second on order, while the third grade is on the buffet bar).
As the name goes it is grilled. not only that they can also serve it as shabu2. But lets not stop, why not having both?
The place is well decorated. Just that we happen to sit below the speaker it was quite loud (lucky only for a short period of time and after we complained they tone down the speaker which is nice).
The choice of the buffet in the buffet bar is wide, I can say comparable to the other big brands. With ice cream, puddings, various drinks from Nestle, foiled mushroom, veggie fruits, some skewers, fritters, beef teriyaki, etc. I think if we try it all we will be very full already.
When we went here we initially plan to have the highest grade (supreme was it) as it also offer scallops which my wife want to have (for me of course I aim for the wagyu). but the scallop is not available when we were there. so we go for the mid grade (prime I think they call it). Surprisingly the meat on this grade come in a decent marbling. so when we grill it, we cut use scissor, then can eat it easily. They also give you additional salt and pepper grinder on top of the normal sweet sauce and spicy sauce.
Will come back here when I'm in the area with hungry...
Read moreWe visit a couple of days ago. The place is nice with plenty of parking space. A bit to large as we need to walk a bit to the food station, so you need to go back and forth a few times (I found this is actually okay, but not sure for elderly people). The smoking area also located conveniently and lack of smoke odour, which I found they use very good exhaust system).
What I found dissapointing is the service. Staff are rude. When I ask for tea spoon at the ice cream bar (since the one on the counter is not available) they told me to get one at the adjacent counter (which also not available). When I ask again for the spoon, it took them more than 4 minutes. Also when I ask one of the staff to remove the meat plate from the tray and say thanks, he ignores me, which is very impolite. The table that we were given is lack of napkins, when ask, the staff forgot completely (would understand if they are working during peak time, but we came around 2pm so it wasn’t very crowded as there’s plenty of empty table). I also saw on the next empty table that they didn’t clean up the floor as there were some waffle/crepes lying on the floor (this is from we came until we left). Overall, they need to train all the floor staff for better manner. As much as the place is nice and the food served are fresh, I don’t think I will revisit this...
