Soto Betawi H. Mamat — Restaurant in Serpong

We've been here before, and this is for the second time. They make some improvement, on the table set at the first floor. We did not know that actually they provide the table set at the second floor too. Our favorite menu is "oseng oseng daging" it's kind of dice slices meat mix with a slices of chili If you don't like spicy you can request to serve it without it, and they prepare that menu with the soup and you also can choose "santan or bening" "bening" means just like soup. They have a toilet at the second floor, but there's no praying room. And if you bring your car there, you better come earlier, because it's not enough space, or you just buy it using Application "GoFood" . Unfortunately they only received a cash, no payment with a card, so prepare your money if you want to go there, because you also can buy "es Doger" or "otak-otak" ini front of this place, in a different order. So...have a nice try, and...

They serve the menu a little bit different with other soto betawi. They separate the filling (meat, tomato, etc) in a small plate and the soup on a bowl. And at the first thought it makes people tends to add more rice because while eating the first portion of their rice, the meat (could be chicken or beef or mixed) and the soup still visible and can be calculated that to finish them, must add the rice. So big temptation isn't it? They have two kind of soup, the thick one with coconut milk soup and the second one is a clear soup. They called the first one soto and the second one is oseng-oseng. They have parking lot for about 8 cars but you can park along the road...

Honestly speaking, this Soto betawi is not to my liking.

I'm sure for others, they love it, but not my cup of tea indefinitely.

The soup broth is too oily and lacking flavor. Beef also wasn't a joy to eat as they are tough.

The tongseng dish was better. But still alright.

Es Padong was good and so is the Otak². They're the only saving grace for the day.

Service was slow and have to numerously requesting for stuffs. I mean we ate past the lunch rush hours, so not sure what causes them to be distracted and Un-attentive.

Would not return here fer sure, even if people say it's good.
