There are places where you simply know that quality and the desire to serve better and do things right are present, and this is one of them.

I arrived by chance to have a coffee and ended up returning day after day to eat breakfast and drink more coffee. Everything in this place is made with love, and it is one of those places where you feel cared for, protected, and pampered. Everything they cook has a very special and tasty touch.

I even talked to the owner, who invited me to see how they roast the coffee. She explained and showed me how they carefully separate the coffee beans they receive, and then they roast them in an oven that was handmade by the owner's father. Then I could understand why the coffee in this place was so wonderful. The smell of newly roasted coffee is exceptional.

These are the kind of places that make you love and feel at home when you travel. When you enter, you realize you are in a special place because not only are there passing foreigners, but also locals and people from all over Indonesia who come and return, not just for the quality and service but also for the atmosphere. It is gratifying to see places like this in...

Had the opportunity to visit this cafe a couple of times during my stay at Pia's Poppies as it is located just around the corner from the hotel and takes a couple of minutes on foot. As I generally do when visiting a new place, I went for a quick stroll around the neighbourhood early in the morning of the first day and came across this cafe. It seemed closed as the door was shut but during my subsequent visits I found out from the proprietor that the place was open for business. The cafe is down a narrow side street off the main road. Walking along the side street you will pass Pia's Poppies on the right and a church on the left. If you follow the slightly sloping bend to the left you will find the cafe is a few metres on the left hand side. It's a nice, cozy atmosphere inside and the service is excellent. Ofcourse, the coffee was good and so was the breakfast I had one morning. On one occasion, I did have a chance to speak with the owner of the cafe and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation. Before I left Toraja I made sure to bring back a couple of bags of coffee beans from...

Lovely cafe / restaurant! Vegan / vegetarian food and drink: Smoothie bowl Avocado toast Nasi noreng veggie (with tofu &Tempe) Coffee with oat milk Toast with Jam

We are vegan and we came here everyday for breakfasts and lunches. In the menu there isn't vegan options but they can create delicious vegan dishes. The new smoothie bowl with oat milk is amazing! (better than most smoothie bowls we had in Bali). The menu has "avocado and egg sandwich", we ordered it without the egg and we got a very delicious avocado toast. The menu has "toast is butter and jam". You can ask for toast with just jam. And it tastes fresh and delicious! Coffee with oat milk is available and the coffee is so good! You can also order dishes like Nasi goreng without the egg. And they were even able to add some yummy tofu and tempeh.

The cafe has an inside area and beautiful garden area to sit.

The staff are so kind and welcoming. We miss the cafe already!

We also bought a bag of coffee from the cafe to take...
