Depot Nasi Campur Pojok Tambak Bayan — Restaurant in Surabaya

One of well known restaurant in Surabaya. Existed for over 35 years. Started as a food stall on pedestrian walk, later able to open the restaurant by bought the place nearby. Famous for its nasi campur (rice with noodle, tofu, soy chicken and beef) and other variants (later add in, as time by time). Now run by the second generations. This visit is a long time visit from the last one (due to pandemic), maybe over a year. Taste hadn't change. Space and sitting had follow the goverment rule of distance and number of visitors. But as seen during my visit, customer is still there though less than those days before pandemic. Food taste is still the same. Great they are still running...

The Legendary nasi campur Tambak Bayan. Used to be mixed with porky sate but since the father passed away, it changed to halal food which is more acceptable to others.

Food nasi campur is ok with chicken or beef rendang instead.

Only that the crowds and waiters were so loud shouting each other when passing an order from the front. The place is rather hot and didn't notice any AC or not.
