I'm thrilled to see Hakata Ikkousha back in Surabaya ๐ It used to be my favorite ramen spot, and it still holds that title! I visited after the lunch rush, so there were plenty of available tables.
Checking the menu, I noticed varying richness levels for the pork broth: light, silver, and gold. Opted for the light and silver special pork ramen, along with grilled pork gyoza. Despite the silver ramen being slightly pricier (light: 68k, silver: 72k), I'd still recommend trying it for its balanced flavor with a hint of sweetness, served with extra chashu slices. The noodles were soft and slurpable, and the chashu, though thinly sliced, had a generous diameter ๐ซถ๐ป.
Remembering the past garlic crusher experience, it's unfortunately not provided now, but you can still request minced garlic from the server. Hoping they bring back that experience ๐ฅบ
The grilled pork gyoza could use a bit of improvement; it was okay in taste but slightly burnt and not as plump as expected.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the food...

There's ginger inside too which makes the ramen warm and good for the cold weather in January. As for the base soup, it obviously get dominated by the truffle so I got no idea what the original soup taste like. The portion is just right. For the price, I think it's on the expensive side, 70-85k is more suitable I guess.
The parking lot is very...
