Went to Hok Siong with my son and brother around noon. Great place overall, nice ambience of a typical Chinese restaurant. Was actually searching for a pork satay, having seen Hok Sion was rather pleasing. The service was excellent and the waitresses were really quick to help us out. Complete facilities such as toilets, refrigerators, and obviously air conditioners. The main star of the show, the food, was extremely delicious. Just as what you would expect out of restaurant here in Surabaya. I would really love to visit Hok Siong once more with my friends or perhaps family. Hok Siong is also a great place to visit regularly due to their affordable prices as well.

Terpaksa kasih rating bintang 3 ya.. karena benar2 mengecewakan. Untuk makanannya sih enak, satenya tidak mengecewakan, 1plate porsi campurnya lumayan OK, 1/2 ekor ayam panggangmya juga OK tapi Kuah sayur asinnya hambar dan dingin. Yang paling menjengkelkan asap bakar sate nya masuk ke dalam ruang, sampe ruangan full asap, mata jadi perih.. dan bisa di bayangkan, baju, rambut semua bau asap sate padahal kami makan pas lunch dan masih lanjut kerja sampai sore. Apesnya jam 5 saya ada undangan gala dinner terpaksa hadir dgn badan bau asap sate krn tidak memungkinkan untuk pulang ganti.. Sudah berkali2 komplain dengan karyawannya tapi tidak ada tanggapan.. Sprtinya ini akan jadi yg terakir saya makan di sini. Sebelum nya sering makan di margorejo tapi tidak sampai ngalami kejadian ini..

My friend and I ordered Nasi Hainan Campur Spesial (Hainanese Rice with Pork Side Dishes consisting of Roasted Pork Belly, Honey Glazed Char Siu, Pork Satay, etc.) and what impressed us the most about this whole experience is their HONEY GLAZED CHAR SIU (Yes, I had to type in caps lock).

We visited this place during breakfast and came back for more honey glazed char siu. We'll never have enough...

Today i got a "seriawan", it was under my tongue. Actually im looking for a "soup" dishes, when i drove home i passed mayjendsungkoni and foumd hoksiong.
