Classic Chinese decor, authentic Indonesian-chinese cuisine, traditional snacks.
The main course were delicious, some of the snacks are varied between so so and okay, most regular drinks are too sweet, even though we ordered the less sweet versions.
Updated 2023: Same place, same look, clean, neat, waitresses are nice. Parking are very limited. Parking staff are somewhat not too helpful should you park outside the building area.
This places sells two types of cuisine: one room in the front sells various types of snacks to take away, or we could sit in the deeper part of the house to dine in.
Limited table, as we could probably only see 6 + 6 small table to dine in Snacks tasted great IMHO, price were just right. Some are not too expensive. They arrange it very nicely, clean. Various selections.
the dine in experience: Although we were there around 8 in the morning, and the place were not that crowded, it took an effort for waitresses to took our order. Food and drinks were then served for almost 15 minutes waiting time.
We ordered nasi segara, a rice dish with squid, mackarel, and clam. Hence the name: segara: Sea.
Taste delicious. No question about the taste. The portion was a little too small for me, and it cost us 50k. Was it expensive? For these kind of dining experience? I think so.
We also ordered Soto Ayam, which also (surprisingly) cost us 50k. Too oily for our taste, Although the taste were good, the portion was also too small and too little for that particular price.
Verdict: it wasn't a very pleasant dining experience for us. It might help to serve a bigger Portion for these kind of price, and the waiting time was not acceptable (again) for the price we have to pay. Parking are not easy if the place were packed and full, and we would recommend to just buy the snacks, and to find other places to dine in which has bigger rooms, more affordable price with bigger Portion and better...

Read moreI tried so many little foods with a friend at this place spending about IDR200K. Unfortunately the staff only allowed 1 of the 3 aircon to operate. It was a very hot and humid place around 30 degrees. The staff told me owner only let 1 aircon run as there are only a few customers inside. So we were there sweating while trying to enjoy the numerous small bites. My suggestion is that they should sell all the aircon completely if they are cheapskates trying to milk as much money from customers with as little expenses as possible. They should not be in F&B business, if even running AC becomes one of the decisive factors of operating their F&B outlet. Two thumbs down from me. So so food and hot and humid place.
Owner should know that turning on and off their Daikin AC is only going to increase their electricity bill tremendously and shortening their AC life spans. Running all their AC at 24C will not only save their electricity bill compared to turning of and on their AC at 18C. And making less task for their staff who are always on the lookout to turn on and...
