I recently had the opportunity to dine at Restoran Sederhana Masakan Padang, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a wide range of food choices, from delicious fried chicken to mouthwatering beef rendang. But what truly stole my heart was their beef tongue satay. It was incredibly soft and tender, melting in my mouth with every bite. I couldn't get enough of it!

Aside from the amazing food, the restaurant also boasts an impressive selection of drinks. However, here's a little tip for you: if you're in the mood for some tea, make sure to dine in. They offer a complimentary warm tea for dine-in customers, which is a lovely gesture.

I visited the restaurant during the afternoon, and I must admit, it was quite busy. So, if you're planning to have lunch there, I recommend arriving before 12:30 PM. The staff was working diligently to accommodate everyone, but I could tell they were swamped with orders.

The most famous padang restaurant in Indonesia. Yet, IMHO this restaurant is overpriced. For me, taste of this food is just modest. Not too delicious, but not too bad. However, the place is calm and spacious. And if you want to experience real padang restaurant this is the best place for you as they serve all of the menu literally on your table.
