Very awful restaurant, the soto lacks flavor, and VERY POOR SERVICE. Asked for a bit more koya and they wanted to charge 3.000 for a tiny amount of extra koya. The waiter was sweeping right next to us while we were eating!! Dust flying everywhere.
Waiters smell bad as they don't wear uniforms and THEY DO NOT WASH HANDS between touching dirty plates and before serving new plates.
Saw a SMALL COCKROACH by the shelf near the soto!! Not a surprise since the restaurant employees lack hygiene.
I went with a guest foreigner and he also did not have a good experience, foods and services NOT RECOMMENDED! Only good thing about this place...
Read moreWent here for breakfast, loved the variety of Indonesiaan snacks with delicious taste. The place was packed when we got there but the service was friendly and quick turn table so we didnt need to wait. The empal penyet was great and easy to eat. The soto was a bit too clear but perhaps its because im used to soto with thick broth. Anyway i have a great experience! Very recommend! Quick note: the parking person was a nice guy...
Read moreOrdered soto kediri (broth came with chicken breast meat and sprouts) with white rice and 2 fritters (vegetable fritters/bakwan sayur and vege-stuffed tofu/tahu isi). The soto broth was light, with extra fragrance from the fried garlic. The fritters were warm and crispy, perfect pairing for the soto. My total bill amounted to IDR 49500, also included sugarless iced tea to counter Surabaya heat.
Would definitely come back...
