Tahu Telor "Pak Jayen" — Restaurant in Surabaya

Its already been more than a few times where I have been sick from eating this. Every time, I will order through (g*) and those few times resulted in me being sick for a few days. The most recent one being feeling weak and pain throughout my body. I thought I was just being tired and tried sleeping for 11 hours each night. I woke up feeling the same and my stomach even rumbled but since I didnt eat much due to loss of appetite, I didnt manage to clear anything. I recalled the last time I ordered it, the sauce turned out sub par (i.e. it wasn’t even pasty and looks unappetising. This has happened numerous times already.

I hope that Pak Jayen will monitor the standards at each store from time to time to maintain its usually high standards. I don’t mind having to wait a long time for my order if it means receiving high...

First time enjoying tahu telor from their original place, that is East Java. They got a strong and salty taste from peanut sauce that mixed with petis (fermented shrimp from East Java), those sauces make scrambled eggs, tofu, and potatoes become the best combination. I don't know a thing about the sink and toilets here. Their parking lot is so small, if you come with a bike it is fine but if you bring a car you need to walk a little. At the front you will easily miss this place because their sign is inside of the building while at the outside it tells about "eel". Well I had a bad experience when paying, because after my sister paid the food, I paid too and the cashier still accepted it, maybe because of the crowd or else. Overall you gotta try these people.. But make sure who paid so don't pay...
