I recently had the pleasure of visiting Toko Roti Orion in Surakarta, and I must say it was an absolute delight! This little bakery tucked away in the heart of the city is a true hidden gem for bread lovers like myself.
First and foremost, the quality of the bread at Toko Roti Orion is exceptional. Each loaf is made with utmost care and attention to detail. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by the heavenly aroma of freshly baked bread, and it's nearly impossible to resist trying everything they have on display.
One thing that sets this bakery apart is their wide variety of bread options. From classic baguettes and croissants to more unique flavors like pandan and cheese-filled buns, they have something to cater to every taste bud. I particularly loved their artisanal sourdough, which had a perfect crust and a soft, airy interior.
The staff at Toko Roti Orion are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They are always ready to assist you in choosing the right bread or offering recommendations based on your preferences. Their passion for baking is evident in their warm smiles and eagerness to ensure customers have a memorable experience.
What also impressed me was the cleanliness and hygienic practices observed at the bakery. The premises were spotless, and the ingredients used felt fresh and of high quality. It's clear that Toko Roti Orion values the satisfaction and well-being of their customers.
Lastly, the prices are reasonable, considering the exceptional quality of their products. You can indulge in a variety of delectable bread without burning a hole in your pocket. It's the perfect place to treat yourself or grab some goodies to share with friends and family.
Overall, I highly recommend Toko Roti Orion to anyone in Surakarta looking for an extraordinary bakery experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to pay them a visit. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. This bakery has earned a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to return for more delightful bread delights!

Read moreThis was my first time visiting Toko Roti Orion, and unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience. I asked a staff member, who was wearing glasses, about the location of the Mandarin Cake. I admit I mistakenly referred to the product by the wrong name. However, her response was rather curt, as she replied, "mandari cake? Cake? Roti mandarin maksudnya? Itu yang warna coklat" while furrowing her brow.
Afterward, I picked up the bread in question and went to the cashier. Unfortunately, I encountered a similarly unwelcoming attitude from the cashier. When I politely asked if I could pay via transfer since I didn’t have cash on hand, she quickly responded, “gabisa transfer” and immediately asked the person behind me to step forward, without giving me a chance to discuss further. As a result, I decided not to purchase the bread for souvenirs.
This first experience at Toko Roti Orion was disappointing. I hope the management will address the attitude and service of the staff, as customer satisfaction is key to the long-term success of any business. I wish Toko Roti Orion continued success...
Read moreA legendary bakery that is always consistent in quality. I always take the time to buy local snacks at this shop when in Solo. However, due to the limited space and the number of items, this shop feels cramped. Especially with so many buyers, we have to jostle. Unfortunately, with the number of buyers, the toilet facilities are very inadequate, very small and need...
