Lapinea Cafe & Resto — Restaurant in West Java

We visited Lapinea Cafe & Resto in Bandung as a family during the late afternoon, hoping for a relaxing dinner amidst its cool and misty ambiance. The location offered a pleasant view, enhanced by the light drizzle that added a serene charm to the surroundings. Unfortunately, the rain also meant the restaurant had to lower its side panels, limiting our appreciation of the view.

While the atmosphere was delightful, the food fell short of expectations. The dishes were simple and somewhat disappointing for a cafe that boasts such a picturesque setting. It felt more like a trendy spot for locals and tourists to enjoy the ambiance rather than a place to indulge in culinary excellence.

A significant inconvenience was the cafe's payment system. Despite nearby outlets accepting foreign cards, this cafe only accepted cash, so be sure to carry some. Moreover, the ordering process was frustrating; after being seated and scanning the QR code to view the menu, we had to walk 50 metres back to the counter to make payment. This inefficiency detracted from the overall experience.
