Lisung Dulang Resto — Restaurant in West Java

Lisung Resto designed to be ethnic and traditional resto in the mountain side with view of greater Bandung area. The place is well maintained, clean, wood made, relaxing, and of course it has direct view of Bandung city from above. At night, this place has amazing scenery of Bandung city with its lamps. This place also offers open space for event and I think this place also designed to held event such as wedding or party. It also has bar, stage, lock love place and prayer room. Then, the menu has many variations, from western to local food. The price is affordable, the beverage starts from 16k, snack or side dish for 20k something, main menu starts from 35k. The taste is so so, but I tried Nasi panggang is delicious and Grilled fish also good. The service is fast but unfortunately the waiters and cashier don't act like giving hospitality. Lisung Resto sells a place for relax and best view, so I think the selling point of this resto are not in the food or service. Overall, I like this place for its affordable price and good ambience with wonderful view at night. It will be perfect for hang out with your friends or family, it also one of the best place to take picture with your special one. Lisung Resto is a cozy resto to linger around located in Dago Pakar. It offers the beautiful horizon city view of Bandung and serenity. At night, you can hear cicadas and see the stars.

I went here yesterday, expecting just to enjoy lingering around. Aside from the scenic view, they're offering, the food was also great.

I had their Ayam Kecombrang with Pucuk Labu, Tahu Rawit and a drink called Nice Dream. Ayam Kecombrang was great, the Pucuk Labu part which was the vegetables compliment the savory taste of the chicken well. Tahu Rawit was also a great snack, though a tad bit too salty, its spicy and crunchy texture made it a great food to munch on while waiting for the main course.

The location is FAR from the main street, which make it very quiet. The price is not that expensive (quite cheap for places like this, honestly). I love the food so much, they are tasty! The atmosphere and views of Bandung is breathtaking. But, they do need to work on their services, the staffs couldn't explain their menus well and they did take time to serve us. Also, it's hard for people with disability to come here since the seats are all located down a very steep staircase AND they have no lifts (obviously). The sofas are all old and some do smell. They should also consider about separating smoking and non-smoking area since some people can't handle the smoke. It's...
