This was the second time we stayed here, we stayed at the executive caravan. First time we stayed at swimming-pool-at-the-back room, right at the pandemic time. Hubby got super cheap price from one travel/ticketing app.
Air and view were fabulous. Room also good with speedy wifi. But lighting could be better. Just be aware if you open balcony glass door, insects might come in. And sometimes the sound of katydids/tonggeret was deafening (i thought it was big water pump sound), but just reminding ourselves that we're holidaying in the mountain, not in big metropolitan city. Bathroom had bathtub. Kids loved soaking and playing in it. Temperature's mostly cool but in the middle of night, you might want to consider timing the air con off to avoid freezed over.
Staffs were ALL very friendly. But i couldn't get more than the usual number of coffee-tea-mineral-water amenities. Even towels (only 2 in bathroom), couldn't have additional unless paying. But staff said we could take from swimming room, so no problem.
Breakfast was free for 2 adults per room. There's improvement in food taste this time compared to pandemic visit. I really liked lontong sayur and would always had second portion. Chicken satay was also yummy.

The Valley Resort Hotel was the perfect venue for my staycation. It's only 40 minutes from Bandung but feels worlds away the moment you enter the lobby.
This property has 2 delicious restaurants with views that are unparalleled and offer a full view of the city. My Australian steak was cooked to perfection while my date had sushi that was fresh and tasteful.
My room was a 2 bedroom bungalow that featured a full dining room, small kitchen, 3 bathrooms and views of the entire valley.
Aria was our host and he made sure all of our needs were met, the kindest person you'll ever meet at a resort .
You also never know who you'll meet while dining at the resort, we met and talked to the two daughters of Mohammad Hattta.
I've included some pictures of our visit, make this a must while...
