Teuan — Restaurant in West Java

Stunning place, luxury cafe type, and of course has to come with an expensive menu. For the place it has the luxurious vibe and good outdoor feel breeze where you dont easily sweat (and of course because its lembang). Its best to come here at night for the better scenery.

However, by expensive means there has to be a quality. I choose Lemon Butter Salmon Steak with Mashed Potato and Hot Chocolate as my dinner first impression. Turns out the menu that i have chosen does not meet my expectation.

For the salmon is somehow too salty, like sea salt salty and not from the butter i suspect. The salmon is a bit too dry but hey i dont really blame on it cause its a steak, but it lacks sauce so i order with an extra mushroom sauce. The salmon need to be improved in my opinion.

And here goes the drink, Hot Chocolate. The chocolate itself is fine and all, but sadly it doesnt come with the plate and i just see the waitress bring me here unplated and barehanded (lol). No plate, no spoon, no sugar add-on, no anything, just glass and the chocolate, and thats it no anything.

I also brought friend and ordered different food and by their opinion its quite good by what they said, so lets give it an extra.

So thats it, to whoever read this i suggest not to order salmon just yet for atleast a while or a month to see if theres any improvement and go try order something else. Dont forget to order the side dishes like dimsum and else.

I would recommend this place very much to hangout in group, date, or whatever you desire. But be ready if it will not meet your expectations. As for the restaurant, there still need to be some improvement, from my review above as start.

Visited Teuan Lembang for lunch. I actually attracted to their nice ambience. I ordered Daging Sapi Lada Hitam (beef with black pepper sauce, onions, red and green bell pepper ala Teuan), Sop Kapitan (special Kapitan soup ala Teuan, consists of beef, potato, carrot & tomato served with steam rice and sambal rawit), Nasi Goreng Rahasia Mamak (this fried rice has secret signature ingredient made from pera rice, duck in hoisin sauce and served with pickes) and Kailan Siram (braised Hong Kong kailan with oyster sauce). I also ordered their dimsum menu of Hakau and Shiumay. For beverages, I ordered Kiwi Tea, Hot Jasmine Tea and Kiwi Squash. Overall, i'm pretty satisfied with all the orders from Teuan. Recommend their Daging Sapi Lada Hitam and Kailan Siram. Their dimsum also pretty decent. Beside nice menus, they're also have nice ambience and they're also have many reptiles pet that freely roaming the field in the middle area of the restaurant. I've been told that they sometimes have animal exhibitions on the weekend (totally loves it 🥰). For this visit to Teuan Cafe & Resto Lembang, i'm gonna rate them 4 out of 5.
