Really wanted to like this place but found it really lacking. I hadn't been to Gili for abou 5 years and was excited to see some new places on the island. From the reviews I was expecting a really good meal unfortunately the food was a big let down. bread not enough salt, had zero flavour prawns were not fresh, they had an ammonia aroma/flavour burratta was matured so much was almost mozzarella, inside was almost fully set and the skin was thick lobster was over cooked, dryer than Oscar Wilde vongole was ok

Also beers were not cold. Overall the F&B needs major improvement

To add insult to injury they charge 3% for use of cards. It's 2023, who still does that??

Service was very good, friendly attentive and organised

Ambience is great, nice setting.

I like what they're trying to do but the food isn't there yet, hope they get there 🤞🏿

🥞 Underwhelming Experience at Danima – More Style Than Substance ☕ I stopped by Danima Restaurant on Gili T for breakfast and, unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations. I ordered the pancakes, which were actually tasty, but the portion was disappointingly small (2 small pancakes), especially for the price. It felt more like a snack than a meal.

I also had a Lombok coffee, which was just okay, not bad, but nothing special. What really surprised me was having to pay extra for a splash of milk, which felt unnecessary and a bit stingy considering the already high prices.

Overall, the place gives off a polished, touristy vibe, but the value just doesn’t match the cost. It felt more like a tourist trap than a genuine dining experience. There are definitely better and cheaper spots on Gili T for both food...

Un'esperienza da incubo: sconsigliato a tutti!

Sono italiano, anzi, napoletano, e so cosa significa mangiare bene. Purtroppo, la nostra cena da Damina è stata la peggiore esperienza culinaria di sempre. Eravamo in sei e siamo rimasti tutti a bocca aperta, ma non per la bontà del cibo, bensì per il suo totale disastro.

Igiene e pulizia: uno zero spaccato

Il primo consiglio che mi sento di dare a chiunque voglia sedersi qui è: prima di ordinare, guardate la cucina. Si trova dietro la cassa e la sua visione è agghiacciante. La pulizia è un concetto sconosciuto in questo locale. Un'igiene inesistente che vi farà passare la voglia di assaggiare qualsiasi cosa. Noi purtroppo l'abbiamo scoperto troppo tardi. I bicchieri di vetro emanavano un forte e sgradevole odore di pesce, un chiaro segnale di una pulizia superficiale e frettolosa.

Piatti al limite dell'immangiabile

Abbiamo provato vari piatti e nessuno si è salvato. Gli antipasti erano un presagio di ciò che sarebbe venuto: calamari, bruschette e patatine fritte erano tutti orribili.

I primi piatti non sono stati da meno. Le quattro porzioni di tagliatelle all'aragosta che abbiamo ordinato erano completamente senza gusto, un piatto insapore che non rendeva giustizia a un ingrediente così pregiato. Il gnocco con sugo e burrata aveva un sapore decisamente alterato, quasi andato a male. E per finire, lo spaghetto aglio e olio è stato un vero e proprio incubo, un piatto che un italiano non dovrebbe mai vedere in vita sua.

In sintesi, la cucina è un disastro totale. Il cibo è immangiabile e le condizioni igieniche sono inaccettabili. Se siete alla ricerca di una buona esperienza culinaria, state alla larga da questo posto. Spero che questa recensione possa salvare altri clienti da una...
