Hamburgerya! — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

Unfortunately I could only give Hamburgerya 3 stars - but not because of the food itself but everything else. We ate at their partner pasta pojok downstairs and that was lovely earlier in the day.

We arrived and there is nowhere online to book a table so could be something to sort for future but there were 6 of us and a lot of tables taken up by 2s which I understand can’t be moved but the seating could be better sorted to fit more people.

We waited 20 minutes outside without having any of our drinks orders taken and I completely understand they were busy, but they definitely needed more staff as they were running up and down from the pasta place downstairs and forgot about us. The staff themselves were lovely but they do need more help especially as it was barely busy.

They also had a problem with the kitchen downstairs so I understand that was out of their control, but it took a while for our order to be taken as well.

One good thing is they offer gluten free bun and this was nice (not really a bun though, more fresh bread cooked in a circle and very fluffy almost like cake consistency) but tbh it was very nice for me - and they have vegetarian jackfruit burger.

One other thing was the food came out at all separate times and they gave my brother a vegetarian burger which made me and my partner panic because he ordered meat and so we were scared to eat ours for a while not knowing if his was vegetarian or ours was also meat. This did get sorted and they gave my brother the wrong one but it did make me panic; total mistake I understand!

But then all the food came out at different times, including the desserts and then when we came to pay the bill, they gave us two separate bills one for the burgers and one for the pasta so we had to pay upstairs and downstairs which I think annoyed my dad quite a lot as it was hot in the restaurant, no AC and very slow service.

The food itself - really nice. The staff were also lovely too but definitely run off their feet so need more help.

I’d go back again to try it and try the food as I understand this is just an accumulation of things, some of which are out of their control, but I’d recommend to try. Though I don’t think my family would come back. Props to the chef 🧑‍🍳...

It’s really annoying to make this review. Because it was one really good burger, the best we had on this trip. We ordered a burger, which initially cost 80.000 each. The staff was very nice as well, so no hate to them. But we are on a budget, and 160.000 was on the steep end for us to begin with for 2 burgers. The problem is when we had to pay, she unfortunately didn’t tell us that it was only for a certain day, it was called Thursday burger, which we didn’t notice, and it was on the table, and when we ordered it, she just asked us which drinks, so no chance for us to know. It was 264.000,- total, so over 100.000 more and she apologised for not letting us now. But it just ruins a good experience in my book :( and in my opinion the price should have been the 160.000,-

As said delicious burger! But unfortunate for us.

132.000,- is really steep for one...

After passing this venue so many times, I decided to try. Menu is attractive, offering a variety of burgers and some local food. The waiter waiting on us had high knowledge about the menu items on the menu. On Thursday is a special cheap deal. We decided to choose a mix of three small burgers. Waiter asked us how we would like to have our meat cooked. Even three (or4?) types of buns we could choose from. Every item is freshly prepared, which we could taste very clearly. Fresh salad Italian dressing, even the buns are home made. I would have scored this place a 10/10, but because of the high music volume coming out the speakers I rate this place 9/10! It's 100% worth the money! Great food, great...
