Sea Breeze, Steaks & More — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

Couple months ago I was visiting Lombok , my retired mum living in small community in green valley offered to take me to new barbeque place November 2023 . Meal was not our standards, brand new place with no any barbeque experience , she put negative more as alert ( she was planning to remove it, now NO ) the attention she got from the manager was never you come to our place . And I saw it accidentally the answer because I help my mum to re-set her new phone . The manager store he don't understand is not easy to please all costumers, restaurant business is very challenging!! Rude response creates more negative reviews. About the food quality was NOT there , for the money we pay almost 750.000 IDR ,you don't Get license to grill in one day .is restaurants doing barbeque for years and they don't claim have license to grill. We were a family of two adults and two children out for dinner. When we arrived the restaurant was almost empty and the service was great. However as the place filled up it was clear that there were not enough staff, they were visibly rushed and even the security guard helped out and cleared our plates. We had two tenderloin steaks which were beautifully cooked. Beef ribs were plentiful and spaghetti carbonara, which was tagliatelle but still tasty. Be aware that the food from the grill does not come with accompaniments so it makes the meal more expensive than other steak restaurants we have enjoyed on Lombok. I cannot recommend the fried broccoli- the squishy broccoli (I suspect previously frozen) was covered in a very thick and fatty batter. Came here on the back of reading some raving reviews for being the best steak in Lombok.

We loved the quiet space, and accessibility for our young children (aged 3 & 1). Service staff were busy but also attentive to our needs. We also loved the open grill area so the children could admire the grilling in action.

The only blemish on the food was the Ladies’ steak done medium-well. Perhaps it’s not a common request therefore it turned out well-done.

The medium done ribeye along with the garlic / herb butter was good, as were the other sides: Mac & cheese, fries, coleslaw and corn on the cob.

It’s not easy to source for quality meat on Lombok, but I would have hoped for some cuts with more marbling that would be great for grilling, that could take...
