We should have read the reviews more carefully. It’s a typical tourist spot where they overcharge for normal, tasteless food. As soon as we arrived, we saw a huge cockroach near our table and discreetly informed a staff member. We should have left at that point. We ordered two dishes, one of which was pork, and it was pure fat with no flavor at all. The filet mignon was slightly better but still tasteless and not worth it. It was served with some kind of potatoes or onions, but we couldn’t tell because the food had no flavor. The portions were small for the price. In the end, we paid over 200k rupiah per person, which is extremely expensive for a restaurant of this quality. There are much better options in the area, and this place was a complete disappointment. Seeing a waiter pick up a with a cockroach with some naokin and toss it in the trash next to the grill ruined our dinner even more. There’s nothing "warung" about this place; the place is very okay, and the bathroom is horrible. You can see cleanless it is not a must there. I would never recommend it. Its not a local place If...
Read moreDecided to try since Google reviews were good and the place is walking distance from hotel. Had an enjoyable dinner with friendly service by the sweet female staff. The price however is relatively higher and being a small restaurant which does bbq, it gets quite warm. Tried Molly's pizza which seems to be a mix of flavours - seafood, chicken and pepperoni. I would recommend just going for seafood as the prawns and sotong was sweet and fresh. The chicken was abit dry and hard for me. We also had the apple strudel. The pastry itself was well done. I wish though the vanilla icecream used to be of better standard to match with the lovely pastry. There was also cereal added as decor which I think was not a good choice as it is abit kiddish and it was also slightly soft already. I liked the Singraja beer served at the shop, it is very light and easy to down. A suggestion though to provide snack like corn chips for guests who order beer. I think that would make people order more beer haha. I did see others ordering their sate and steak and they look good too. Overall, still...
Read moreThis is an outstanding restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I had the grilled fresh fish, served with a traditional Lombok sauce and crispy fried potatoes. The fish was incredibly fresh, with a perfectly grilled, crispy skin and tender, flavorful meat inside. It was clear that a lot of care went into its preparation. One of the highlights of the meal was that the restaurant's owner personally prepared the fish right in front of us, adding a special touch to the whole experience. The Lombok sauce was the perfect complement – slightly spicy, rich in flavor, and paired beautifully with the fish. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. Every detail, from the presentation of the dish to the flavors, was well thought out. If you’re a fan of fresh seafood and appreciate excellent service, this is definitely a place you don’t want to miss. I’ll certainly be returning, and I wholeheartedly recommend...
