Considered cheap for city center area. Can enjoy many snacks and drink here which is not extremely tasty but it's ok. The ambiance is what you're looking for. Overlooking open field of keraton yogyakarta's north square. Side of this cafe, you can find many snack stalls for munchies. Parking is on side of the road for car which lots of times, specially weekend, will be lot harder to find a spot. Easier if you're...

Tempat ngopi di daerah Alun-alun Utara ini menghadirkan suasana klasik dengan bangunan pendopo dan menu utamanya, Kopi Walik, kopi yang disajikan terbalik.

Fina Permana, pengelola, mengatakan, melihat pesatnya perkembangan kafe kopi di Jogja, yang banyak menawarkan suasana 'wah' dengan kesan mahal, ia ingin menghadirkan suasana yang berbeda. “Bagaimana sih minum kopi, mengingat jaman dulu eyang-eyang kita, tetep nikmat kok dinikmati kaya gitu,” tuturnya. Selain diseruput di piring tatakan gelasnya, kopi ini bisa dinikmati dengan sedotan.

Menu Kopi Walik sendiri dibagi dua, kopi hitam dan kopi susu. Kopi yang digunakan adalah Kopi Robusta dari Temanggung. Di samping minuman andalan tersebut, antara lain ada aneka minuman hangat seperti jahe, teh susu, dan coklat. Ada juga aneka jus dan mocktail, hingga ice blend.

Tempat ngopi yang baru melangsungkan soft opening pada 24 Februari 2018 lalu ini punya menu-menu lain yang asyik disantap sembari ngopi. Ada macam-macam snack seperti singkong goreng, pisang goreng, roti, kentang dan lainnya.

The first time I'm here, I definitely curious about the main menu, Kopi Walik (black/milk coffee served in an upside down glass on a small plate). The coffee doesn't have any distinctive taste or anything, but it's a new experience for me. Besides, the price here is pretty cheap compared to the other coffee shop. So, there's no reason to not come back here again.

Well, I like the coffee, it's locally grown and brewed coffee with traditional brewing method. It's very much interesting that they served the coffee up side down. This way, they keep the coffee warm longer, which is nice. The place itself is minimalist, which has indoor and outdoor seating, which is very nice. I recommend the coffee and enjoyed the stay.
