TERRIBLE experience there. 🤮🤮
That place does NOT deserve the good ranking it has in Google maps... I suspect they are buying good reviews
The place is filthy dirty. The staff doesn't even care to clean the tables after customers finish eating. We had to insist 2 times to get the trash out of out table after we arrived.
Staff at the entrance (3 staff just hanging out there at the entrance) really without education, didn't even say "hello" and sent us to check by ourself to check if there was a table available
After 15min waiting for a staff to pas our order, we had to ask 3 times and wait 15 min more before somebody finally took our order
Overpriced, more than 2x normal price in the area and food below average
The staff didn't even answer to our "goodbye" when we left
In CONCLUSION, there is visibly zero management at this so-called restaurant, and all the staff we met had absolutely no education.
better PASS your way. Don't lose your time and energy in this...
Read moreThis is my favourite place to chill out with my friends during college life. The place is unique, cheap, 24 hours open, and serve many javanese food that I love. This place is also tourists destination for culinary experience and always waiting list except on breakfast time. The food for me is so so, but some of the menus are unique and you can only found them here. The atmosphere feels so javanese and they offer something different than the rest javanese restaurant. They also have souvenir stalls, bakpia stalls as oleh oleh. This restaurant should be on your must visit list when you come to Jogja. The waiters and waitresses are wearing traditional Javanese costume, the place is relaxed and they always play javanese instrument. You will smell sesajen and also dupa here, they place many sesajen and dupa in every corner of the restaurant. The restaurant is open space restaurant, so there is no smoking or non...
Read moreThe food here probably the best Javanese food in Yogya but I think they desert 3 stars because it lack of service due to over load of customer, what ever I wanted to order, the restaurant sold out. For instance sate of all kinds were sold out and a few more other items as well. We were there around 730pm. Price of most items are very reasonable. The staff who took our order did not help us much in controlling the quantity that we ordered and we ended up with so many dishes. Food were not brought to us all at once and my Indonesian friends had to wait because they said that in their culture they want all the food come to the table before they can eat. The food were just ok, however, I still recommend everyone to come here at least once while visiting Yogya because there aren't that many upscale resto in this town. The ambiance and atmosphere are awesome here. Have a great...
