Dune Café feels like a missed opportunity sadly. So much money clearly went into the design, branding, and flashy launch videos to present it as an elevated, premium coffee experience. But then you take a sip and it tastes like any generic café using Monin syrups. If you're aiming for sophistication, that's not going to cut it.
A café with this kind of aesthetic and ambition should have a tight, curated menu using the highest-quality ingredients. Ideally, syrups should be made in-house or sourced from specialty producers, not pulled from a mass-market bottle you can find at any other cafe around.
Highlighting local celebrities and influencers in your Instagram profile doesn’t add substance, it just makes the place feel more like a photo-op than a true café. That kind of image-driven branding might get people through the door once, but it won’t build loyalty.
Since Dune opened, a few other spots have started copying the look. Which just proves: design isn’t what makes a coffee shop special. It’s the atmosphere, the community it creates, and the craft behind every drink. Until Dune focuses less on looking cool and more on actually serving great coffee, it’ll keep being just another pretty place with...
Read moreFrom the moment I stepped into Dune, I knew I’d found something special. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and modern, with warm lighting, natural textures, and thoughtful design touches that make it feel like a retreat from the everyday.
The coffee? Absolutely top-tier. Rich, smooth, and clearly made with care—whether you're a flat white fan or a pour-over purist, you'll find something to love. I also tried their house-made pastries and a seasonal salad—both fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
What really sets Dune apart, though, is the staff. Friendly without being overbearing, they’re knowledgeable about the menu and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
And especially a guy named (LASS) he’s such a great staff member and what really makes him so special, his manners and his quickness, he was really great at his job and thanks to him we had a great experience at the cafe.
Whether you're catching up with a friend, getting some work done, or just enjoying a quiet moment with a good drink, Dune is the place to be. I’ll...
Read moreI don’t know if it was because i had very high expectations but my experience was quite disappointing. The location is fine but parking was sooo annoying. Underground parking was like an absolute zoo. Regardless, the café itself was quite spacious despite its crowded location. The drinks and food were good, not the best i’ve tasted but they were like a 7/10. The service was fine but I deducted 2 starts cause it wasn’t even crowded but it somehow took ~20 minutes for our drinks and food to arrive which was ??? Cause it was only 2 drinks and 2 wraps… i liked the decor and the atmosphere it was very desert-like which was something never done before here BUT and this is a strong but, the one star deducted was because of the seating changes in each corner. This café has 3 main seating section and EACH section had a different neutral shade with different chairs and tables and i HATED how it looked design wise. It confused my...
