I wish I could give less than one star.

This branch of Espresso Lab is incredibly disappointing in every aspect. The staff are noticeably inexperienced for such a consistently busy location. Most of them seem quite young, and there doesn’t appear to be any senior or experienced supervisor overseeing operations. My orders, and those of other customers have been repeatedly ignored during busy hours due to a clear lack of focus.

One staff member in particular, who seems to always be on shift when I visit, clearly doesn’t know how to prepare a proper hot latte. Every time I place my order, it ends up delayed while she waits for someone else to assist her.

Today, around 10:30 AM, all the pastries were stale leftovers from the previous day, and there was no fresh stock because they were waiting for a delivery from the Grand Majidi Mall branch. The worst part is that this wasn’t communicated at all, I was simply handed a dry, old cake with no explanation.

I sincerely urge the management to focus on improving the quality of both the staff and the products.

I will not be visiting this location again. Thankfully, there are plenty of better coffee options...

Espresso Lab at The Boulevard delivered one of the best coffee experiences I’ve had in a while. The coffee is rich, smooth, and full of flavor — clearly made from high-quality beans and expertly brewed. You can tell they take their craft seriously.

I tried their Decaf Americano which is hardly offered in Erbil, and it had a perfectly balanced taste: not too bitter, not too acidic — just bold and satisfying. The aroma alone was enough to lift my mood.

The ambiance is clean, modern, and relaxing — ideal for both a quick caffeine fix or a quiet sit-down. Staff were friendly, professional, and passionate about coffee.

Highly recommend this place if you’re a true coffee lover. Definitely...

The cafe is very good and the coffee is very high quality no doubt, but you really need to solve the smoking issue inside the cafe at this branch (the Boulevard one).
