Pros:

I found this bar by search, and honestly, it turned out to be better than I expected.

The vibes are cool and friendly, not too loud, and people looked like they were having fun.

There was an expat host who encouraged everyone to sing karaoke songs.

They have screens inside the bar showing the lyrics, and people sang in Kurdish, Arabic, English, and even French — it was really nice to see.

The place design feels western, not modern but classic, with wooden walls and warm yellow lights. The chairs and tables are leather, like from the 1980s or early 1990s, which gave it a cozy old-style look.

The crowd was mixed — mostly locals, but many foreigners too.

The bartender I spoke to was nice, always smiling and friendly.

Cons:

The other two bartenders looked serious and busy, not very welcoming.

Nobody asked me what I want to drink — I had to call the bartender myself. Usually, in bars, they come and ask you with a smile, especially when you sit at the bar.

The lady at the entrance told me where to sit, even though there were many empty chairs at the bar.

Some seats had “Reserved” signs, which is strange for a bar. I stayed for three hours, and nobody came to take those seats.

You apparently have to reserve your seat at the bar, which I think is wrong. I have been to many countries, and I have never seen a bar where the bar seats...

I've been here a few times and have had mixed reviews each time, mostly negative. However, yesterday evening I went with a friend and for the first time, I found they'd set tables up right outside. The evening was pleasant. The inside of this place is often full of smoke thanks to the smokers. Ventilation is horrible with little to no circulation. I choke every time. However, I had a wonderful experience yesterday. Sitting outdoors provided the space to not only carry conversation under the beautiful moonlight but also enjoy the soft music in the background and the fresh, crisp evening air. I definitely recommend visiting in the evening and sitting outside if possible. I'm lactose intolerant and they were gracious enough to bring the cheese and dairy dressing on the side so my friend and I could share the salad. Service was slow. Now listen. Are we talking aesthetic? Because they ate and left no crumbs at this place. Food is mainly good but I only order side dishes I never ordered a main dish here because they don’t have the best vegetarian options. For myself I always tend to be out around noon and afternoon. They don’t have a good security around noon time. My friend was hit on while I was in the bathroom for a second by a random dude that just deliberately came in and sat next to her. No one did something. So in terms of safety and food there is so much to work on. Aesthetics wise, I love it and I enjoy the wine they have. Would I recommend it? Yes. Have I gone there again?
