Apache Pizza & Big Bites Carrick-on-Shannon — Restaurant in County Leitrim

I rang Apache Pizza & Big Bites to put in an order for collection. The staff were busy so I did not mind waiting for my order to be completed when I arrived. While I was waiting I observed the covid restrictions in place hand sanitizer the two meter signage. Staff huddled behind the counter wearing their face masks some staff with their face masks on correctly above the nose but I was disappointed to see other staff especially the lady that seemed to be in a management role wearing her mask below her mouth. Management are meant to lead by example but that was not the case this evening. I paid for my order and left. When I returned home and opened my kebab as I tucked in I noticed human hair on the meat and as I investigated more I found more human hair on the shredded lettuce and onion. That put me off my food and I will not be returning to Apache Pizza & Big Bites. I would not mind but I used to enjoy my meal from there over the years. Standards have slipped and I will not be returning if the staff cannot wear their face masks or provide customers with fresh hygienic food its just not worth it. There are plenty more takeaway in Carrick that will get my business...

Awful….. placed a pizza order for the kids, 1h after the order was placed my wife rings them and the guy on the phone extremely rude… she gives me the phone and says “I can’t speak to him he is very bad”. I worked 10 years in hospitality but this guy was so so bad… I asked him about the order and on a bad tone tells me he has no order for me, after I give him the order number he tells me He’ll check that for me will ring me back… I ring again after 7-10 min and he says that I will have my pizza I need to be patient….lol patients after 1h and 15 min and you being rude to my wife and me. I asked him for a refund as I don’t need the pizza anymore I had made food for the kids already. He sends me cash through the delivery driver who btw didn’t have enough change…. Really ? Not happy with delivery service. Driver was very rude and was shouting at my 14 year old daughter for the restaurant forgetting our food. I also had to pay extra money at the door when I payed full price on the just eat app. disgraceful carry on. When I was on the phone to the takeaway they hung up on me. When delivery driver came back with the forgotten food the garlic dip was from a different takeaway and much smaller than what I had payed for. I am appalled. I was also told by the delivery driver that the forgotten food was my fault as he said I needed to call them before they left with the food making sure they had everything. That is not my responsibility but the takeaways as I did not ring them but ordered online.
