Himalayan Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in County Leitrim

This is the worst Indian food I have ever had sorry to say. We ordered tandoori mixed meat starter and it was basically all boiled meat sprinkled with chilli powder. We went here based on how amazing the reviews were on our last day of an amazing trip but ended up with the most awful experience. Staff were nice and ambience is just ok. We had some vegetarian friends who had difficulty finding food so we ended up going here. Probably veg was not that bad but whatever we ordered was just inedible. After the starters we actually gave this review so that at least the mains wouldn't be so bad by talking to the manager. So when the mains came the dish was way too sweet. However it was edible this time! For others: please do not think this is how Indian food tastes! For the owner: I request you to change your chef and make it like how you would...

We had a wonderful experience here, the food was absolutely delicious, made with rich flavors and cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted unique and flavourful, not how some places are when all dishes taste the same.

The staff were quick but never made us feel rushed, friendly and polite at all times making the experience much more enjoyable.

The only possible negatives are the bar across the road playing loud music, we didn’t mind this but some may. Also, it was slightly on the pricey side but it’s what you expect with authentic Indian food.

Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem definitely...

Surely you should know better and leave if your pappadom comes out stale. Or at least when you get a starter and there is this sad looking brown edged lettuce chopped couple of days ago with slimey tomatoes. But the onion bhaji tastes good and you stay for the main course as well. But the disappointment continues here as well: mushy veggies in byriani, extremely hot raita (why???) that smells of eggs.At this point we just tasted the saag aloo and left the rest of the food because it became clear the food isn't fresh at all! The staff wasn't friendly....
