This is a warm and cozy pub, with a fireplace that is always fully stoked with wood and peat and cozy tables booths and couches to enjoy the atmosphere. The staff are very courteous and professional, friendly too. The owner is a great guy who is often there making sure things are running smoothly. They have sports on the television, not top loud, and a jukebox that plays everything from country to rock to reggae. The crowd there are friendly and it's a nice place to meet people and enjoy the Craic. If you come to Ballina, and you want to go to a pub you MUST visit the Auld Shebeen! I recommend this place as a 5 star with confidence......
