Saw day before, looked forward to it. Busy. Downstairs tables almost full, so asked if upstairs open. Told yes. Served our drinks upstairs, took our order of sandwiches. All good. Over twenty minutes later, drinks well spent, but no food. Obviously forgot we were there though staff members went past to the bar/storage area. Only stayed as one (diabetic) member of the party insisted. They went downstairs, then evidently the kitchen were told about our sandwiches for the first time. Whatever food was - all simple ingredients, no real prep necessary - well, if it was better than mediocre, it was ruined by bad service. (Personally, thought the veggie option was blah, paltry and, thus, overpriced.) Took ages to get anyone's attention to pay downstairs. No coordination. Could have left without paying. Said we had a bad experience. The one instance of "sorry" in their reply could have been replaced with the word "lemonade". The word was quickly followed with every excuse, blaming us for sitting upstairs - we asked if open, got drinks and gave order there, so no - then more excuses but no final apology. Pointed out how bad this was re customer service. (Blame negated the insincere, filler use of sorry.) She said we should have been given complimentary drinks, but then proceeded to give us absolutely nothing except a charge for the full order before I demanded the drink comp she alluded to. High price for bland food and to be treated like dirt. Completely unprofessional. Would not -- Could not...

Nice sunny November day, so decided to enjoy lunch sitting outside, so I sat down. After 10 or fifteen minutes there was no sign of service (nor cleaning of dirty tables), so I went to door, because I had my well behaved dog on her lead with me. I ordered my meal, paid for it, and asked for a glass of tap water. After 20 to 30 minutes of waiting I enquired about my food and water again. Eventually I was brought my food but no water. I reminded her again about my glass of water. She appeared to impatiently nod but my water never came. I was parched, my food was dry. As I suffer from kidney infections I needed that glass of water. I felt it was denied me on purpose by a pretty rude member of staff. I left and felt pretty annoyed that despite asking twice I got no water. The place was not busy. I do not recommend. The staff never clean the tables outside and they won't give their customers a drink AND it seemed to me that it was intentional!!! 😳🤔. Disgusted! And I can't...

Came here for a quick breakfast as I had an appointment.I went to the counter unsure where I supposed to order as it was my first time.Staff didn't seem too enthused to serve me .When I finally ordered the lady came out first with the wrong order .I got my coffee finally but the had to wait almost a further 20 mins almost even though there was only a few people there.I thought maybe they had forgotten my order and was going to go in to say but it did finally arrive. I think they may need another staff member as they seem short staffed. Nice food but I am not sure if I will go again considering how long it took for...
