Absolutely fantastic spot! The food at Mam’s in Ballina is all homemade and full of flavour - you can really taste the care that goes into it. The soup was delicious, and the portions are incredibly generous. I didn’t get to try the delicious looking pastries but will give them a try next time I’m visiting. There’s a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and such a warm, genuine welcome from the team. Couldn’t recommend it more highly- a real gem! I nearly forgot to mention the incredible Guinness bread! 👏

We ordered a Cappuccino, Flat white, and a Latte for drinks, then a brownie and rocky road for dessert. Everything was delicious and we spent around 8 euro per person (for both a drink and dessert), the portions are quite big though so it's a reasonable price :) the staff are lovely and accommodating, and the atmosphere of the interior is very calming

Breakfast was so tasty we got a slice of cheesecake for takeaway! Also, the cafe was adorable and very clean.

Very tasty breakfast. We both had the Oh La La French Toast as it looked so good on other posted photos and it didn’t disappoint. The owner even came out to check on our meal and was super nice. Breakfast was so tasty we got a slice of cheesecake for takeaway! Also, the cafe was adorable and very clean.

Recenly opened Mams, which was where we were having our brunch today. There was a waiting time of twenty minutes for a table as they were extremely busy. The table was cleaned whilst we waited to be served.

They were unable to serve all their menu as they'd run out of food. The staff were friendly and very apologetic about the food shortages, rather disappointing.

The staff ONLY had 3 THINGS on the menu as they were run off their feet. We selected 3 drinks, 2 buns, and 2 french toast, which all came to 40 euro.

Very expensive, didn't serve bacon on French toast although same expensive price 🤔

But the French toast was great !

Lovely staff, I have to say, although very busy, we had great little chats with them !

All in all, when they settle in, i believe that "mams" will be a regular for some people, just not for me.

I believe it is very important to remember that they've just opened and it will take a few weeks to find their groove .

I would definitely recommend mams for anyone who likes a traditional Irish breakfast or a nice and tasty breakfast with the family!

I personally give mams 3.5 stars 🤗

Stopped in here on our way out and about for a day of sightseeing, and adored it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the Ohh La La French Toast looked SO good that we both ordered it.

We also got a slice of cheesecake from the front counter for a future dessert and it was also delicious.

If we didn’t live on the other side of the country Mam’s would be on the regular visit...
