I can't compliment this place enough. We popped in this afternoon for much needed coffee and a bit of power for our mobile phones as like most of the country we've had no power at home since early yesterday due to the storm. Well when we got here it looked like the whole town had the same idea. It was so busy but the two members of staff that were on, were brilliant. We were served in no time. We sat down and enjoyed our delicious coffee while observing two people who are both excellent at their jobs get through the crowds that kept on coming. A lovely little coffee shop on the main street in Mullingar. The staff are super friendly and the tables etc super clean and staff masked and gloved up.The choice of coffee is great and you have an option of medium or strong roast. I love the banana bread but you can also have a sandwich plain or toasted. The queen ann style armchairs and the comfy sofas at the windows are a great spot to sit back and people watch while sipping on good coffee. I went for a coffee while waiting for my daughters. The place is dark and cold, the staff friendly but more interested in their little chat than in their customers. I ordered a small latte in a take away cup and I got a medium latte in a mug. When I told them they just poured the coffee from the mug to a cup... the fact I ordered the take away cup is because I don't want my coffee to touch a mug. They also charged me for a medium size... and told me to wait the customers queue for getting the refund 😳 Never coming...
