J. Daly — Restaurant in County Westmeath

After a long work day in Dublin, I stopped in for a drink while waiting for my lift home. I’m not a local but live outside Mullingar. In short, don’t come here if you aren’t known to the bar staff or owner. Despite 3 staff on, I was ignored and had to move twice to even get served. White Wine was corked and warm and it felt so unwelcoming I left my drink and walked out. Ended up in Canton Casey’s across the road where the service and welcome was warm & genuine. Dalys pub is a great spot ! Pizza is UNREAL 🍕 Nicest pizza in Mullingar without a doubt ! And the cocktails are delish 'Pomengrate Cooler' definitely try 😋 Staff are friendly.
