First time here and want to say that myself and my father enjoyed ourselves. As it was a Wednesday, we went for the special of two sirloin steaks and the glass of house wine. Got the merlot, was superb! We were then informed by the waitress that the steak comes on a hot stone and we cook it ourselves. Sounded a bit daunting. But we gave it a go and I am glad we did. So the chef effectively sears the steak and then you decide when to eat it and there is a bit of fingers crossed that you will get your desired result 😀. A few things would have improved it, like you have to turn the steak so maybe some tongs or something as there was a bit of splatter. Also you have to rest it, so we asked for additional plates so we could do that. Also, you don't want your steak to keep cooking! After all that the veg had gone cold but we just used the hot plate and were back in business! We really enjoyed the whole thing. Got chicken wings for starter just yummy 😋 Bit of confusion getting apple crumble for dessert but it was sorted no problem.

Am going there for my birthday have already booked!!.

Update edit: went for my birthday and was very disappointed. Ordered the steak like before and this time the chef cooked it. Was cooked fine but the quality of the steak was dreadful. Very tough loads of grizzle. Would have sent it back but I didn't as I was being treated for my birthday. Won't be going back. Was an expensive night to leave hungry. I have reduced my previous 5...

We visited the Sea & Stone restaurant, their beer garden, located next to their two‑floor restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice — fresh air, cozy blue tables, and the chance to enjoy your meal outdoors.

We ordered their signature hot stone steaks — an impressive presentation, the meat sizzles right on the table and you can cook it to your preferred doneness. It comes with chunky fries, herb butter, sauce, and grilled vegetables.

For dessert, we tried several options: chocolate brownie with ice cream, tiramisu, and sticky toffee pudding — beautifully served on slate plates and full of flavor. We also want to highlight the great service — the staff were attentive, fast, and helpful with recommendations.

And congratulations to Sea & Stone — they celebrate their 1‑year anniversary today! 🎉 Wishing them growth, happy guests, and always delicious food. We’ll definitely...

The food was very tasty. The staff were very attentive and our waitress was so genuinely nice and helpful. The interior is clean and warm. The booths were very cosy. It's a great addition to the town.. My only reservation was that the starter (pictured) seemed quite expensive..3 small scallops for 18 euro. Eating out is more expensive these days everywhere. Good quality ingredients and good staff are expensive too - so not a direct criticism. I had the fillet steak on the stone and it was a nice piece of meat. I'd likely order it on the plate cooked to my liking next time.. The stone is a fun experience but the chef is better at this than me. :) the desert was delicious too and they had a nice selection of choices. I'll visit again for sure. Budget guide - I spent 160 for two people including tip. Worthy of 5 stars.
