Ger's Deli — Restaurant in Dublin

I returned home after 20+ years under unfortunate circumstances and as a 'pick me up' my cousin took me out to Ger's Deli for what he said was 'the best ting you'll eat all week'. Eejit I thought, but lets check it out. I come from a long line of Ballyer's and before leaving Dublin to Canada I was born and raised in Tallaght. Big Up's to Tallaght!. So why not I thought.

Man's was right. Breakfast Roll was unreal. The size for the cost doesnt make sense. We ate at 1030am and I may have ate a small salad that night for dinner I was so full.

Atmosphere, staff, prices, quality, unbeatable. You lot have something magical there going on. I cannot wait for my return in the spring of 2025.

Arguably the best thing I ate all week... Shout out to Lam's spice bag down the road. 5/5 stars easily for Ger's.

When I lived in Ballyfermot many years ago, people ranted and raved about this place. That was over 10 years or more and I remember it been the nicest place ever. It’s now 2024 and still nothing has changed - it’s still the best place to get a lovely breakfast roll. I sometimes even travel up for a breakfast roll or when I’m passing by stop for a sandwich. This place is always busy, staff are always friendly. Every encounter I’ve ever had has been a pleasant one. It just goes to show, don’t fix what’s not broken, this place is still going strong even with the menu the same for years ✨👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 change can sometimes be bad. Keep doing what your doing. Ger's was recommended as the best chicken fillet roll in the city, so naturally we had to try it! We came at the perfect time as there was a legitimate line out the door as we were waiting.

It was a bit of a wait because I got one of the sandwiches toasted which I wasn't really expecting, but the staff were all out of this world nice! They were constantly checking in with me and my order and I never felt frustrated or that I was unnecessarily waiting. And let me tell you the chicken fillet roll did not disappoint!
