So! Let me start off by saying this only got four stars because of the customer service! My waitress first language is Japanese so we struggled a bit until I just slowed down and gave her a minute to translate what I’m saying in her own mind back to her own language then it was smooth selling.

However this is not a real sushi spot. They only have tuna and salmon all rolls contained fried tempura. Which means there’s no yellowtail or any of the 20 or so fish varieties offered at real sushi restaurants. This place is a hybrid of Thai and Japanese so most options are curry, ramen, and miso. That being said you’d think there would be more options. There’s not the menu is two pages long. Sushi is only half a page and the rest is curry teriyaki combos last page short ramen list. I feel like they are mixing too many food groups together but still not offering enough variety. Strangely enough I blame the customers bland tastes rather then the restaurant.

That being said food...

Very disappointed with my order, it was disgusting, i felt sick after a few bites and it had to be thrown straight into the bin.

I ordered the house mixed tempura but was left short of the squad rings, hake and crab, everything else was there but tasteless and coated in their "light and crispy" batter which was also tasteless and rubbery. I also ordered two desserts (it's my cheat day) the mochi (which wasn't bad but not terribly good either and something I'd never have again) and banofee pie (which clearly know ones has ever ordered from here on account of the bananas being black as black can be and the cream was solid). In total it cost me nearly €30 including delivery. This was my cheat day but I am the only one feeling cheated here. Never eating...

I love this joint. I’ve been a few times now. And the food and service are beyond my expectations not to mention the value. The staff are very kind and professional and without trying, make you feel so comfortable and welcome. The decor is very authentic and relaxing - I’m a massive fan of rainbow roll and tempura prawns and squid. This is what are usually have at waki sushi. I always go with friends who have different dishes and they share the same opinion of me about the food and service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that appreciate amazing service serving delicious food that won’t break the bank. Well done guys you deserve all the success you get. Kind...

Momoya offers an elegant ambiance and impeccable service, making it ideal for any occasion. The sushi selection is outstanding, featuring fresh ingredients and innovative flavors. Signature dishes like all the “Chef specials” sushi and Seafood ramen stand out for their exceptional taste. Each dish is beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's artistry. Overall, dining at Momoya is a delightful experience that exceeds expectations. With its combination of exquisite cuisine and attentive service, it's no wonder it's a culinary favorite in Dublin north
