Lovely traditional pub. Lounge was well laid out and very clean. Thursday 5pm for food no drinks.it was as very quiet with a mixed age group. As evening (8pm) wore on a younger (student) crowd started to arrive. Vibe was excellen, piped music catchy but a little loud. Bar and Table initial service was slow and laid back based on number of staff around. Staff were very pleasant once they noticed you were there My waitress was lovely, very polite and did return to table to check everything was ok after food was served. Quick to ask if i needed a drinks refill. I ordered lasagne and it was devine. Lovely and hot very tasty came with really nice salad and chips. Im knocked off a star purely for slow start to service and would like to see more menu options for those who dont eat burgers. I will definitely eat here again and i will recommend it to friends.

- stars if possible! I Had dinner early Saturday! Had the C&B tower burger which had no sauce on it! Been to cock and bull a few times and the food always comes out different! Each time different sauce and ingredients! Seriously gone down hill! Staff are the only good thing about this place! I asked for the main game of premier league to be shown on their tvs ! “Did not have the channel” I was told! Like seriously a pub not having sports channels embarrassing! Should have stayed at home! Won’t be back!

We found ourselves in Dublin after an unexpected emergency landing, craving fish and chips and a hearty pint. The staff was attentive, and the music added a traditional touch to a genuine Irish pub. If you’re stuck in Dublin, definitely explore and support the local bars. Thanks to Luca and his Portuguese sidekick for persuading me to stay after a couple of locals tried to make us feel unwelcome and getting shoved by an old man with a cane. All in all, a memorable layover!

Myself and a friend went on Thursday the 20th of April 2017 to watch the Manchester united v Anderlect football match. The pub was pretty empty. A nice waitress came and took our order of food and a pint each. A minute later the main bar man came over asking for ID stating that it was over 21's on a Thursday. My friend handed his passport to the bar man. The bar man subsequently walked off for a few minutes with my friends passport and came back stating that it wasn't him. My friend explained that he is 27 and the passport was produced nearly 5 years ago and that his hair style and general facial look has slightly changed with age. The bar man stated he still wasn't convinced and asked for other ID, my friend offered him his bank card. The bar man became increasing rude saying he needed other ID with a photo. He continued to comment that the passport must not be my friends. After that he walked off and told the waitress not to serve us and we left the premised to the dismay of waitress. Logically it is hard to understand how a nearly empty pub with a over 21's policy on a Thursday evening would refused to sell food and alcohol to two men with ID's who are 26 and 27 respectively. I felt quite embarrassed looking back at the ordeal. In the end, its the pub that loses...

I usually love going here as I live nearby, but this past Sunday myself and a group of friends went for food and cocktails as they are (usually) €5 on Thursdays and Sundays. At the end of our meal we were told after we ordered drinks we had 5 minutes left very abruptly (fair enough because of covid, but it was just done so rudely). The girl who I guess was the manager came with our bill only for us to see they had overcharged for cocktails, when we highlighted this to her we were met with indifference and a horrible attitude. She blamed her staff for not telling us cocktails are no longer a fiver due to covid even though it's still plastered everywhere and on their menus. All she offered was a stern talking to with her staff, she asked us to point out who didn't say it! She was generally just rude and unhelpful. It's disappointing as it will put me off going back as I feel it's deceitful to advertise something that's no longer on offer. At least put a sign or sticker on each table to let people know. Other than this experience the food and drinks are nice, it's just a shame one person can ruin what would have otherwise been a...

After this manager came and to say he was dog rude is mild he swing his set of keys as if he was so important we just want food you need to go get some people skills and he was wearing a poxy looking Adidas top so my advise is never set foot in this place cos you are judged from the time u walk in the...
