Been here a few times as we live locally. First comment, baby high chairs are NEVER clean. Gotta bring your own cloths etc or ask at the counter. Horrible. Visited on Sunday, June 19th at around 16h00. Inside the spacious premises, 3 tables occupied leaving many empty tables. 3 tables occupied on the terrace. 2 staff trying to do as little as humanly possible hiding in the little cubby area behind the counter. When we came in, there were 5 tables with cups and a few other items sitting on them, one table we wanted to use near the entrance had crumbs all over the seat. So we sat at the back. 55 mins later we left. One of the staff, the girl, came out after about 30 mins and cleared away the cups and knives etc from the tables. Not a single table was cleaned. Not one! Just cleared, nothing else. On the way out, the chair with the crumbs still had the crumbs. Two women actually came in before we left, went to the chair and moved to another one. A long post to highlight the fact that this place needs management oversight and see that staff need basic training on cleanliness and customer service. A lovely cafe with a nice variety of seating options. Accessible with a wheelchair bathroom with a baby changing station. and nice friendly staff who give great service. The coffee is delicious and well made, with beautiful latte art and well foamed milk made by experienced and skilled baristas. There are also high chairs for infants available, and the lighting gives the place a relaxed and cozy mood. A good location for work or study, a catch up with friends or during your lunch break to get food and coffee. There are a variety of food options available, with sandwiches that can be heated up by the staff, to pastries and desserts to enjoy with your coffee. I would highly recommend this establishment. I think I just found my new winter Saturday spot, been here before but never really appreciated it as I did today, after a nice Saturday morning walk with a cold face and the coffee monster calling I stopped in and even though it was busy there was no table shortage, great meal deal with nice big toasted cheese and ham bloomer and medium latte coming in at just under 10e very tasty and good value, all that was missing was the roaring fire as I melted into a very comfortable seat and just enjoyed the moment....
