Couldn’t give enough praise to the team working at Nandos tonight. For a brand new restaurant with staff who are still finding their feet, I think everything went as smoothly as it could. Arrived around 20 past 7 and joined quite a long line but immediately after joining it, we were greeted by a lovely girl who politely told us it would be about 30 minutes until we’d be seated and asked if that was ok. We stayed in line, she gave us a menu and thanked us for waiting. About 10 minutes later the wait time was followed up by a manger who came out to speak to us. As we got to the top of the line we were greeted by a very polite guy, I believe his name was Greg. He kept us chatting as we waited a little more and was very friendly and sociable. He took us to our seats, asked about allergies and explained the ordering process to us. We did wait quite a long time for our food, but we could see how incredibly busy everyone was with new food constantly coming out onto the pass. Both managers were very busy coordinating food and staff and the team were very nice checking in with tables, informing about wait times, if we needed anything while we waited etc. Our food was delicious! We may have ordered a little too much but we enjoyed every bite. We were informed at the end of our meal that because of the long wait times, the manager wanted to give everyone dessert on the house which I thought was extremely kind. I took a chocolate gelato which was delicious. I wanted to leave a good review as both Greg and manager Becky were extremely lovely and looked after us tonight and to read so many bad reviews here is very upsetting. Wait times and uncertainty amongst staff is very understandable for a restaurant that has been open 2-3 weeks. For people complaining about empty tables and still having to wait, I think it’s great to see management looking after their staff by not overwhelming them by filling the restaurant if they’re struggling, as well as setting customer’s expectations than having us seated and then waiting all night for food as the staff can’t keep up. It all takes time but you’re all doing great! Will...

Hey folks my name is Robyn aka Rob aka the robster aka rotten Robyn I have been eating in dunnes stores all my life and shopping in this establishment for many years I have been a fan of the magnificent deli of dunnes stores where they would know my order by heart and have it ready fresh for me to devour into sometimes even the staff would crack open a patio set of table and chairs for me to kick back and relax on whilst I munch into my meal but one day I decided me and my friends catriona Duffy and emer who has sever schizophrenic episodes and cannot be left alone and we were in the beautiful crescent today where I got to sit in a black taxi it was very fun but we got a bit peckish and I decided me and the girls would have a nibble in the resteraunt where all the cool kids and cats hang out but when I entered the building I was appalled at what I was seeing there was illegal scorpion fights today they were battling a wild jack russle against a South Carolina mow hawk scorpion and in the bathroom they were selling freshly cooked chinchilla knee caps I tried to avoid it all so me and the girly pops sat down and ordered I orders my usual chips with burger and a side of cookie crisp in a glass and when my meal can me the manager came up behind me and put me in a headlock and a staff member ripped cats wheelchair from under her leaving her roaring crying they said it was only a prank and handed us our food but cat had to sit in a high chair as they took her wheelchair apart with a crane the food was absolutely horrendous they gave me a grilled kangaroo spine with armadillo earlobes a side of camels ankles and a drink of blended up pandol and for a desert they gave me fried iguana covered in Indian chocolate wrapped In fried barb wire and they gave me a crow bar to eat it to say the least I will never be stepping foot in this establishment again and just a warning to staff never step foot in South Asia also get your act together please and fix your chips bring back...

The queue outside the door certainly raised my eyebrows! Finally got seated after about 15 minutes of waiting. We were told to order "on-line" even though we were seated at our table! The last time I checked, the Covid nonsense ended years ago! So we bit our lip, scanned the QR code, downloaded the app, waited for it to be installed on our devices, dodged the joining nonsense, and commenced ordering, as you can imagine the conversation was just riveting at out table at this stage! Guys- Basically the app is a joke, it asks you to make selections that simply are not there! and on the other hand, asks you to select more stuff you simply don't want. We gave up after about 10 mins of trying to wrestle with the app. We then asked a reluctant staff member for help! thinking we were just too dumb to order on-line! (I work in IT and customer service, and build websites for a living!) But to no surprise they could not get the app to work either! They had the same problems as us! They then suggested we try the "website" I asked if they had used it before, and the answer was no! The kids were getting impatient at this stage so we decided to leave for "Milano's" at the other side of the mall! where we would be served properly from start to finish, and we were.... it was both a "relaxing.. and an enjoyable experience" NOTE TO NANDO'S- If I go out to eat... and I'm spending €130 + on a family meal... a little organisation and "actual service" is expected. I want to actually enjoy the dining experience, chat with my partner and be served a nice meal. ... not a lot to ask for..! That's what I'm paying for! I don't expect to literally be asked to do the washing up as well... Not ONE of your staff has ANY 'people skills" BTW. And the "covid phone ordering thing" is utter...

Nando’s Limerick Crescent Review Visiting Nando’s at the Crescent Shopping Centre in Limerick was a delightful experience that left me eager to return. Known for its Portuguese-South African flame-grilled peri-peri chicken, Nando’s delivers bold flavors in a vibrant, welcoming setting. The restaurant’s design is striking, with colorful pendants crafted from upcycled cotton illuminating the space, creating a warm yet lively atmosphere. The staff, particularly Emmanuel and Mubarak, were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and quick to assist with menu recommendations. Their enthusiasm elevated the dining experience, making it feel personal and engaging. I ordered the classic peri-peri chicken burger with medium spice, paired with spicy rice and coleslaw. The chicken was perfectly grilled, juicy, and packed with zesty flavor that hit just the right heat level. The sides were fresh, with the rice offering a subtle kick and the coleslaw providing a cool balance. Portions were satisfying, though some might find them slightly small for the price, with my meal totaling around €15. Service was efficient, with food arriving promptly despite a busy evening. The self-service model—ordering via QR code, grabbing cutlery, and refilling drinks—kept things streamlined but might feel less traditional for some. Cleanliness was impeccable, from spotless tables to well-maintained bathrooms. Overall, Nando’s Limerick combines fantastic food, a vibrant ambiance, and stellar service. It’s perfect for a casual meal while shopping or a flavorful night out. I’ll definitely be back to try the peri-peri Saka sauce recommended by the staff

I stopped here for lunch today and had a great experience, the staff were super professional, especially Laura, and I send her a huge thank you for that. Safety seemed to be a priority here, twice I was asked by different staff members did I have any allergies. This is something I rarely see elsewhere. There is great choice of food here, I had a wonderful meal. Very healthy and flavourful with unlimited beverage refills for a good price. The establishment is also nice, well decorated and clean. I will definitely make an effort to come here again when I am in Limerick.
