Stopped at this cafe today Dec 3rd 2020 for takeaway food. There was a few in front of me in queue but orders were been taking very quickly. I orderd my wrap so seen that a lot of items were pre-prepped it was put in the oven for toasting. I paid etc but ended up waiting near 20mins for my food. 4 adults working behind the counter, 2 i had spoken to were foreign nationals so very hard to understand them. So many people were waiting ages for their orders, orders were been mixed up. I got someone else's so i gave it back after been 10mins waiting, then customers that ordered after me got served before me. Staff did not know what they were doing, there should have been a system where everyone's orders were "numbered" by a ticket. For a finish the queue got a lot longer and a lot of angry customers. I asked the woman serving the teas where was my order, she was actually very rude & ignorant to me along with another staff member..waiting 20mins for a small item is a disgrace and to top it off when i FINALLY got it the middle of it was cold. Not good for business...staff need proper training in manners & respect. They should'nt be working in this area if they cant address customers properly and take orders right. Read moreThe Good O'Brien's was in the city center in limerick lovely food it was a very big disappointment when it closed, I've tried this store in the Crescent every time I've gone in there I've had a bad experience, they don't know how to take orders, I had to explain 4 times what I wanted and was made wait all day for, I've worked in shop like this and would have been fired if I treaded the customers like this. Please retrain your staff or hire the staff that were at the city center store. Read moreI have been going here for years and always enjoy it. Lately there us alot of new staff in there. I find most of the staff especially nice and polite but there is one guy working in there and I swear he hates me for some reason. Everytime I go in to order there are extra charges all over the place on a small sandwich. There is a way to approach customers and this guy has the worst approach I have ever seen. Management would want to have a chat with him. I have never been made feel so embarrassed in my life. If there are supposed to be additional charged on certain items a little sign would be perfect, not the way your staff are saying it...
