Poppadom Indian Restaurant Limerick — Restaurant in Limerick

I placed an order with this restaurant on December 17th via Deliveroo. This order was accepted by the restaurant at 16:18 and was scheduled for delivery at 17:05. However, by 17:40, my food had not arrived. I made several attempts to contact the restaurant by phone, but no one answered. I even left two voicemails, but received no response. We decided to call to the restaurant around 18:15 but the place was in darkness and locked up. Given the substantial delay and the lack of communication from the restaurant, I decided to place an order with a different restaurant, as I feared my food would never arrive. At approximately 18:40, a driver from Poppadom showed up at my door with the food, but by that time, we had already ordered food from another restaurant. I informed the driver to take the food back, and I intend to request a refund for the order. The levels of ineptitude from Poppadom are staggering and would raise questions in my mind about where the food is being prepared and cooked given that the place was in darkness when we called and multiple phone calls to the restaurant...

I ordered food through ‘Just eat’ at around 21:50 and the delivery time showed in the app was 23:10. But the food did not arrive until 23:25. So, I called the restaurant and I was told that I have to wait for another 30 minutes for the food to arrive that means 12:00 am (literally starving for 2 hours and waiting until midnight for food) The person who answered the phone was so rude and didn’t even apologise for the delay rather kept arguing and said we cannot do anything. We ordered food for takeaway from the Castletroy Poppadom and were extremely disappointed with the service, eta, and food. We had ordered Dal Triveni, Mammy's veggi and potato curry and palak paneer. All three had a very bad burnt taste. The palak paneer did not even have a single piece of paneer in it. We also had chicken tikka biriyani, prawns momos, and ragda pattis, which was better than the curries but not the best. We ordered online by 8 pm for pick up at 8:30 pm, which was then changed to 8:45 by them over a call, however there was another 15 to 20 mins wait time after that. Don't think I'm going to get food...
