From the moment we stepped into Cosmo, it was clear that exceptional care wasn’t just reserved for a few — it was the standard for every single guest. You could almost read the satisfaction on every table. And yet, despite how full and lively the restaurant was, I received one of the most incredible, personalized dining experiences I’ve ever had — especially as someone with food intolerances.
Of course, I could go on about how amazing the food was (because it truly was), but what made the evening unforgettable was the level of care and the personal experience I was given.
Anyone with food intolerances knows the drill—especially at buffet-style places. You usually accept your fate, try to find a couple of “safe” options, and make peace with it. No one’s cooking for you, right?
WRONG.
As soon as I mentioned my intolerances, a wonderfully kind staff member came and explained each dish in detail. They even arranged gluten-free versions of the dishes I liked—and I’m not talking about basic substitutions. These were carefully crafted, custom-prepared plates made just for me. Despite being busy attending to the entire restaurant, this person took the time to ensure I had everything I needed, and more. Honestly, it felt like we were dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Plot twist: when we asked to thank the person personally, we found out they were the head chef. The head chef! In the middle of a packed restaurant, they made me feel like the most important guest in the room. Their attention to detail was nothing short of extraordinary.
Absolutely nothing was ever too much to ask. I didn’t have to say “never mind” or “it’s okay.” They made sure even the smallest things—from the chocolate sauce on my dessert to specially prepared ice creams—were safe for me and beautifully presented. And again, this was all done while the place was full.
We were a group of six, and every single one of us loved every dish we tried. The staff were phenomenal, the atmosphere was magical, and the service… just beyond words.
Thank you for...
Read moreI had really high expectations on this buffet restaurant, but unfortunately they were not met. As I started, I was happy that there was more than the 'typical buffet food'. I liked the Indian section. But as I went on, it got worse with every dish🫠 The pasta was totally overcooked and the sauces were tasteless and not nice at all. The 'pesto pasta' doesn't deserve its name. The 'pesto' consisted mainly of cream or whatever (that doesn't belong in there, let alone in that amount). There was no dish that made me think 'it's so delicious I need another plate of it!'. The spring rolls could've needed an extra 5 min in the oven and the 'dumpling bar' was a mess and there were lots of empty dumpling boxes randomly laying around. I thought maybe the dessert would be better than the rest, but it wasn't 😭 The fruits for the chocolate fountain didn't taste fresh and you had to remove the grape's stems by yourself which was, considering the fact that you are meant to pour chocolate over them, rather unhandy. Same with the oranges, which you had to peel by yourself. The chocolate was mixed with oil or something (I suppose cuz its cheaper...) and the Tiramisu was so bad I had to leave it on my plate🫠 The food isn't of high quality at all. It seems like they chose the cheapest of the cheap ingredients. Cannot recommend spending 25 to 26 bucks on it. :( In addition, I thought, after reading their website, that softdrinks were included in the price. But they weren't. Yes, there is a bottomless softdrink option but you have to pay 4,25€ for it. When I just had finished, a waiter told the table besides me that there was free tap water available. My waitress didnt tell me and just convinced me to take the...
Read moreIf you are “buffet person” and/or intended to go there with kids, don’t get bothered to read my review – you (or your kids) will surely like the restaurant.
The criticise is mainly for the buffet style.
Firstly the table was limited for 2 hours. You eat as much as you wish within this timeframe. It means what happened to us was, we arrived – went to the buffet (*) – ate like a pig – (go back to * to repeat) at least for the first one hour. We couldn’t enjoy our conversation.
The food itself was … ok. Exactly the quality you’d expect on a buffet restaurant except the dessert and noodle. There was a ramen (Japanese noodle) bar. I had ramen which was awarded by me “the worst ramen in my life”. It impressed me how they could make soup so tasteless.
Atmosphere – noisy. Well, it wasn’t the case for us visiting there on Thursday evening, apparently you should expect queue to go to the buffet. Thank God it didn’t happen to me. I wouldn’t have stood in the queue like an idiot in the middle of my dinner.
After one hour, we eventually got sick and tired to continue the endless journey to the buffet. We went to the dessert corner where kids were so excited and touching marshmallow by hand. The ice-cream was just tasteless. The ice-cream was cold in mouth and, unless a doctor diagnose me taste disorder, this indicate their cost cutting attitude.
This restaurant will meet everyone’s demand and that’s why we had to choose this one. If I had an option, I wouldn’t have chosen it and I won’t go back. With 30 Euros (includes drinks), I would have gone a small cosy restaurant, enjoyed tasty (adequate amount of) food and...
